Male teacher - boner?

Question

there is this young attractive male teacher who I think has a bit of a crush on me because he stares at me a lot like in assemblies but is discreet and acts all nervous around me. I have also heard him say too others teachers that the reason I was being picked on was because I was "so pretty" which was lovely to hear. he was looking at me mouth wide open kinda of like "wow" expression then he suddenly ran out of the classroom past me. 2 minutes later we had all gone in the classroom and sat down then he started teaching us. is it possible that he got a boner I haven't thought of it till now and I dint look down there so I am not sure. but he was looking at me in that "you are really gorgeous" way before he ran off.

Do not pursue this guy. You will only cause trouble for yourself and for him. If people think there is something going on between you, he could lose his job and never be able to get another teaching job. You could both end up in the papers. You could ruin your chances of getting into university or getting a job after you graduate high school, and people in your town will probably give you a very hard time.

It is possible that this teacher thinks you are pretty. It is even possible that he is attracted to you. But that does not mean he wants a relationship or a fling with you. It is also likely that he is not attracted to you at all. Maybe he stares at you because you are always staring at him? Maybe he thinks that you are interested in the class material because you are always staring? Maybe he realizes that you have a crush on him and he feels uncomfortable around you--his staring might be realted to his discomfort. Maybe you look like his sister?

A lot of students mistakenly think that teachers are attracted to them. Or they think that a teacher will act on his attraction. Teachers see hundreds of students throughout the year. Sure, they will sometimes think a student is pretty or smart or nice or whatever. That does not mean they want to start anything with the student. It is not worth it for you or for the teacher to pursue this.

My calculus teacher was just out of college when he started teaching an our all-girls school. He taught a class of 17,18 year old girls in catholic school uniforms and he was only 22, 23? Yeah, he fell for a girl. He didn't act on it till the summer after she graduated, and he lost his job over it. I guess the nuns felt he'd taken advantage of his position. I think she liked him back though, so it wasn't dirty or anything. But...poor guy...

How do you dress in his class? I suggest "covering it up" when you're in his class. He thinks you're pretty, you don't have to rub dirt on your face or anything, but wear a big sweater if you got one. It sounds like he's got enough character not to harass you or anything, but be a decent person and help him get over which I'm sure is causing him a lot of trouble at his job, and its not like he can choose when to think a girl is pretty or not.

Also, is there a female teacher who is the kind understanding sort who wouldn't crucify this poor male teacher? She might be able to do something. And she must be old enough to be this "attractive male teachers" mother or she won't know how to approach him on the subject.

I have plenty of teachers in my family: my wife is a teacher(16-22), my son is a teacher (16-56!) , my grandmother (6-12) and grandfather(6-12) were teachers, some of our friends are of course. I'm hearing all kinds of stories about pupils and about other teachers from them since my youth. I've teached a bit myself, kind of sports coach (15-25) long ago but I didn't like the job enough to continue - I could get a much better pay elsewhere.

I do NOT think that your supposition is remotely probable.

Sure, things happen and I know about certain facts , but they do not happen the way you describe.

I know about many girls under 18 having ideas about their male teachers. Very common.
