How to deal with a perverted boss?

I'm 18 and I've never had a job before, it is getting impossible to find a job because I have no experience.

My my friend recommended a restaurant she used to work at but warned me the owner/manager was a pervert. He was hitting on her and that was the reason she quit.

Im in getting super desperate for a job, what should I do? Any tips? She said he will definetly hit me and that he's very pushy with it.

Look elsewhere you don't need to deal with that, please. Your first job should suck but not to the point where you have some dude groping you. I suggest you look into other areas of work. Can you explain the situation you are in like going to college or not

I'm in my last couple months of highschool! I've been applying to retail jobs just because I'm so naive from lack of experience that I've stayed away from restaurants. Any tips on when I give in my resume? How should I look? What should I say? My friend said to just act innocent and sweet..

Innocent and sweet doesn't cut it. Confident and secure is more like it. Don't go innocent and sweet that is probably why that guy hit on your friend. You should go to college, receive some training then join the workforce. My brother is a waiter in Oahu in Hawaii he makes 500 a night sometimes, so you need to consider being a waiter as your first job be personal and confident. But for the love of god avoid that guy please, and maybe consider getting more intelligent friends

I can't wait till college, I really need a job for the summer. I'm not going to apply there. Maybe I'll try a few restaurants and see. I've been going in confident and nothing. I did recieve a call back for an interview at roots Canada (idk if you know it) and I'm really hoping I get the job. Do you have any tips on that?

In most companies it is against the rules for coworkers to date each other, especially for higher-ups to date lower-levels; in most cases it's a violation they can get fired for.

I'd suggest keep looking elsewhere.

Apply there and then find a way to get him fired. Secretly video tape him if you think it's bad enough, people like that need to be fired, and if you need a job why not kill two birds with one stone?
