Well, then, there are more effective ways to preserve a culture.

But, be sure not to want to preserve your culture just because it's your culture. The fact that you said 'our culture', rather than 'the aspects of our culture that I like', suggests that you need to be more questioning. After all, ironically, Latin culture would not have developed, if old cultures had been preserved.

That said, there are several Latin countries. You could move to one of those. I would certainly move to a country with a better culture if I could.
