The girl in the black bikini in one of the photos is an example of thick or curvy. I find it really funny when people call people who are fat, curvy or thick. In my mind I think 'what curves?' She looks like a ball and balls only have one curve, the round kind! Now I'm not fat shaming, i'm just confused because of how wrong they use the words. If a person is fat, they are fat, if a person is skinny, they are skinny, if a person is chubby, they are chubby! People are so sensitive nowadays. You can't be honest w/o being called a bully or fat shamer or a skinny shamer, etc.

Yeah I agree with you on that but controlling other people's lives is not going to get anyone anywhere most likely these people would think you're a control freak trying to control what they eat where they sleep , what to wear and how to act inside of the society we have today. I say this if eating makes them happy let them be happy if they want to put their life at risk thats their business if they dont have their own determination to lose weight thats them..

Thick is a word that fat girls use to feel better about themselves. Curvy is a body type. Fat shaming is necessary or else there would be no stigma attached to being unhealthy.

Listen, unlike being gay and physically or mentally impaired and other stuff, you can stop being fat. It's 100% possible to change yourself in regards to that. What I mean is that if you would rather kill yourself than lose weight, there is something wrong with you, especially since it's possible to change it. See what I mean I did not attempt suicide over my weight I attempted suicide because people did not like me I was bullied over my appearance and I cannot change who I am I cannot do anything to her I am cuz I'm pretty much okay but people usually pick on me because of my weight my appearance and how I talk I grew tired of it soon enough time flew by and I begin to change I grew a nice body a beautiful face and my bullies became the people who praise me, the people who always wanted to be me or be with me. Comes to find out "thick" is the slang word for curvy used by African Americans...
Many people get confused with the word because many Caucasian people use it in the wrong context. ..
Thick is also know as the vase , cello, and pear shaped bodies or in other words secondary curvy shaped type of bodies...
So technically speaking you stated "Thick" as fat which technically makes Curvy also fat since Thick=curvy
But thick can also mean well proportioned with the characteristics of a curvy body...

Curvy already has a definition that isn't "fat", and it's a positive thing to call someone. So thick doesn't need to mean curvy, it's just a "polite" way of saying fat, because fat doesn't have a positive connotation.
