Why would a grown man want a little girl?
What is meant by the phrase "If the kitten didn't want me then I don't want the cat" ?
Why would a grown man want a little girl?
I have never Encountered That Phrase before, Being as wise as I am and have seen it All.
However, I have seen phrases like "Why buy the cow, when you can get the milk free?"
I will try and break it down for you with This: If the little girl that she is didn't want me, to abide by what I want her to do for me and to be for me, then I don't want her at all as the Big girl, the Person she is Just Period.
Sounds like the cat and the cow have something in common these days. xx
I guess it refers to how a longer period of time can change people's feelings for another.
Like say you have a crush on someone but that person doesn't like you back so you eventually move on. Then a few months or maybe even years later they might come back to you but you don't want to be in a relationship with them anymore because you gave up on them a long time ago.
At least that's how I've interpreted it.
I've never heard it but I'm assuming that it's related to unrequited love. If we use your example, then we'd say the kitten was like a teenage girl, the cat is the adult woman. It means that if she didn't want you whilst you were growing up, then you don't want her now that you're both grown and she's realised how good you are.
I don't get it and I'm not going to try and impress you like those who "understand" inception

I've never heard that phrase before but I presume it's if you liked them growing up and they didn't want you then why would you want them when they are older and possibly more baggage
It probably isn't about age. Probably just saying if she didn't want him before but wants him now then he doesn't want her
First time seeing this phrase, I don't know
