What's worse: being unfollowed or being blocked?

On any social media, you basically have the option to unfollow or block a person. Which I. Your opinion is worse and why? A friend and I are debating and wanna know what you think.

Being unfollowed is worse.

I couldn't care less. Once a year I go through my facebook account and delete everyone I didn't have contact within the last 12 months. Am not offended if people do that to me.

Additionally being blocked just speaks for the person blocking me for being a feeble mind who can't handle opposing opinions and confrontation.

Blocking because of dick-pics and whatnot is fine though. Not that I am getting dick-pics, but one day maybe. ;)

blocked. unfollowed just means that what you post is not interesting enough for them, but if you get blocked they don't wanna have anything to do with you anymore, which sucks. I hate it especially if I get blocked by people I have never spoken too before lol

The only thing I really have is Linked In, Facebook, and this, if this site counts as social media. It probably doesn't.
On FB, I'm only friends with people I know and I pretty much only use it for messenger and to post the occasional epiphany. On this site... I'd rather be blocked. If people don't like me, block me - I don't want to be posting on questions and such when the asker doesn't even want me on there, you know?

wow im the only one who chose unfollowed is worse. aha i dont even have instagram but i think unfollowed is worse because its basically saying that the person doesn't care enough to see your posts which would offend me, but if they blocked me, i would just assume its because i did something kinda bad to them so now they think im crazy and want to keep their distance. Oh well!

I'd say being blocked. Being unfollowed is just a sign of disinterest and it barely affects you other than one less follower. Being blocked is a way that stops you being able to contact someone, it interferes with you because you're stopped from doing something rather than it only affecting them.

What is worse? I could care less if I'm unfollowed or blocked. And if I unfollow or block someone, then there's a reason for it - not responding to me especially if you've posted something after my message or not hanging out with me after I've requested such. If you aren't going to hangout or respond to me, then what are we friends for? I'd prefer us to be friends, but if it's obvious that you don't want to be, then there's no point in staying connected to each other.

I could care less about being followed or unfollowed by someone when you're blocked you can never message them, comment, answer their question/leave your opinion.

blocked cause they are cutting you out of their life. they don't care to see anything from you and don't want you in their life. unfollowing doesn't take that quite as far

Being blocked has a higher negative symbolic meaning I guess. So far I've never done either of both :D
