I'm embarrassed of being Latina?

Question

I don't like having wide hips, a big butt and darker features. Not having super straight and light hair and blue eyes. 

I like white guys, and I feel inferior to my white bfs. Like the fact that they're pale and have pink things (nipples, private parts) while I'm tan and have brownish parts make them superior to me. 

I do everything to look "whiter" and hide my through ethnicity. Is that fucked up?

Girllll... I don't even where to start with this one.

Wide hips - sexy as fuck. It's the one feature you can't change with surgery, feature that makes you feminine and hot! You are so lucky to have them!

Big butt - feminine and attractive.

Dark hair - polls show that most guys prefer brunettes so you're certainly not out of luck here.

Dark eyes - brown eyes look warm and welcoming and they look best in the sunlight!

Tan - it makes imperfections less visible. It's easier for darker skin to look healthy and glowing.

So you really have no reason for self-hate or for feeling less than your friends. I'm a white, blue eyed, blond guy and my girlfriend who is also my dream girl has wide hips, brown hair and brown eyes. The only difference is that she is pale, but skin tone is irrelevant to me. Dark features tend to look warm which is very pretty.

I think Latinas are very classy personally. I don't think you should feel inferior to white people after all we are all human and white people don't really have anything to be jealous of. I do agree with over sexualising Latina woman but the ones I've seen are beautiful

Latina's have a good I guess "stereotype" around them and that is nothing to be embarrassed of, wide hips a big butt and darker features is gorgeous to many guys and a lot of white guys! I'm white and always tried to make my skin a little darker to "pass" as Latina because I was embarrassed about being so white lol, Eva Longoria is goals too and she's a stunning Latina <3

I think it's silly to feel inferior or superior because of things like skin tone, brown nipples, pink nipples, or whatever. But I'm not surprised because there are so many self hating Latinos/Hispanics.

Well it's logical for you to want to be whiter, but there is almost nothing that you can do about it, except having an children from an white guy, which want help to you personally but would help your daughter, also you should feel lucky if you are having and an white boyfriend. :)

I think women with hips, butts and darker features are gorgeous.

Anyway, I guess it depends how much it's upsetting you. If you happen to feel like you're lucky with your partner and you're happy, its fine. If you are constantly feeling unhappy then it's an issue.

Being beautiful has nothing to do with what color your features are. You shouldn't feel inferior to white guys. Being inferior or superior has nothing to do with race. I'm sure you're great just as you are. Being comfortable in your own skin is the most sexy thing to people in general too. I'm sure you are beautiful. I am not a Latina, but I have some friends that are. I think they're great and fun to be around. One is studying law, and I consider her to be quite classy. I hope you can find something positive about yourself... maybe small at first, then build on it. Once you are happy and love yourself, others will be drawn to your positivity- that can be any race of guy.

I think you should embrace/be okay with your ethnicity. Shakira and J Lo are hot for example. I know people who aren't attractive by those standards but still get a lot of guys. In those cases it really wasn't their personalities because they weren't nice but their confidence in themselves.

What's there to be embarrassed about? Everything you mentioned were positive things! I like the darker skin and dark features and certainly the curves aren't bad lol.

Embrace your features, white, latino and other racial features are not superior or infer to on another. I am white, and because of my physique due to exercise I have a big butt which I embrace. My hair s really thick and cannot grow long, but I appreciate what I have. Everyone has things they like and dislike about their bods, but those features make us unique.
