I think it should be legal to kill a cheating spouse if you want to. you have 3 choices. kill her/him and the other person, divorce or working it out.

I'd have to go with no on this one.

Instead I have a better idea. That person and the person they cheated with should not have the privacy or be able in anyway be able to conceal the fact that they had both involved in cheating or adultery once and if it had been verified or had been proven in court or something.

All of what they had been done should be made as public knowledge Worldwide and Globally as a way to shame them and so no one else in the future gets fucked over and be involved in any way Unknowingly with a Cheater and Unfaithful Spouse. So that way in the future who ever gets involved with them would know absolutely clearly what to expect and what they are actually getting themselves into, should they be involved with either of those persons. Having something such as a "known and verified cheater/adulterer" in their history or personal record on file is much more effective than actually taking their lives.

It used to be legal... it's illegal now for good reason. Some spouses were murdering their partner and lying by saying they cheated as a defense and got off free...

Then there's the scenario of an abusive spouse. When the wife finally does get away and leaves him. Do we want it legal for him to gun her down or that he murder the man who was protecting a battered woman?

I do think that if you catch your partner sleeping with someone else and you kill one of them in a fit of passion, then that should be considered in your court case. But we shouldn't just up and make it legal.

Cheating is horrible, but I don't think that makes it okay for you to kill that person. And especially not the other person they're cheating with. What if that person didn't know your spouse was married?

You have plenty of options and killing should not be one of them. You can divorce, you can try to work it out (maybe it was just one mistake), you can take a break for a few months and then see if you want to work it out or just divorce.

It was actually legal in Ancient Greece at points due to laws by Solon that said an a man caught sleeping with another man's wife could be killed by whoever found him, or he could be blackmailed or anything, with impunity. I personally don't agree that we should suddenly make murder legal, but I just thought that was interesting :)
