It's not wrong but it's also not smart. If we start being picky and selective like that then we make it harder on ourselves to find truly special. There's already a shortage of good men! :/ Plus, some guys may not have strong arms but maybe that's a goal of theirs they'd like to work on or something they've been wanting to improve but they just don't know how. Maybe you'll inspire them or you can help guide them if you work out.

Not at all. It also isn't wrong for men to have a preference about what we like in a girl. Like me. I always figured I'm a sucker for brunettes. So far?
Four blondes. No brunettes. Odd world like that. You think you want one thing until you find what you actually want. Still good to have some clue though!
No actually he does have the kind of arms and body structure I usually like. it's not a visual thing.
His arms and legs are strong enough to carry me up a flight of stairs or two and he is broad shouldered. But not overly muscular. I despise men with "guns". Especially short men with guns as it just makes them look shorter. I'm not into Popeye.
Yeah a little extra around the middle. If you look like you spend several days a week at the gym I'm not interested. I realize this is a double standard as I do run and do yoga for at least 10 hours a week total. But it's different for women.
Interesting, is this a true preference, or just something you have become accustomed to... because the guys tend to accumulate that "little around the middle" in their 30's and beyond? I am just curious most women prefer their guy trimmed-up?
Trust me their is no shortage of trim men even in their 40's in my city. I live in a town where adults refuse to grow up.
It's probably more of a bias I developed against really fit men because they aren't well rounded people and tend to be more superficial. I also don't like men who dress flashy to work everyday for no reason. Lawyers, engineers, tech sales guys they don't do this. It's usually real estate men and the like.
Plus a little extra padding doesn't really show in clothes if you have broad shoulders and it makes guys more cuddly.
hahaha... I can see that about real estate people. True about the broad shoulders helping to cover things up and I am sure there are lots of guys out there that wished more girls had your taste in men!
Nothing wrong with having preferences some women like skinny guys, some like muscular ones, some like a good strong jawline others like a killer smile you know it all comes down to preferences.
Well Jon Hamm is a total average dad bod with no muscle definition lol so no worries, you aren't eliminating many people off the list with that standard.

It is normal to like and be attracted to such features. It has evolved with us as part of our natural selection and survival of the fittest. It is part of the sexual selection we carried from our ancestors.
