"Pretty for a BLACK girl?

Im really curious about this statement...
When we talk about 'cute, sexy, adorable, pretty', etc types of girls we see all types of girls who are from european origins, as some examples, especially celebrities.
So my question is: Is there a certain type, a "ranking" for girls from African origin (mixed or not), who can be called pretty, cute, hot or adorable?
Its like this "ranking" of an attractive girl, applies only for non black girls.
So, Please Post pictures of black girls who You consider pretty, cute adorable, sexy, hot, etc.

Ps: be respectful and serious or just move on.

I FUCKING HATE THAT STATEMENT!! Like what the fuck? It's pretty much saying black girls aren't pretty, but because you have European features, you're not too bad.  So black is ugly? The statement is total bullshit.  I find that black women usually have the most beautiful smile.

I think this is pretty obvious really.

"Pretty for a black girl" = the majority of black girls are not pretty (beauty is in the eye of the beholder) but you are an exception because you either don't look too black, don't act too black (black girls with those huge shoulder chips & that attitude like they are The Queen Of Everything), don't dress too black, don't twerk a huge booty just to order a drink and don't wear a blonde/orange wig and therefore the statement "Pretty for a black girl" rings true in their heads.

It's definitely racist and a subtle dig in my opinion.

never heard this before but it sounds like a backwards compliment, as if they would say "because black girls are uglier than other races and you're prettier than other black girls but not white girls or Asian girls" right afterward... black girls i consider pretty?

I would use a comment like that.
I am only attracted to white women. I don't date black, hispanic or Asian. Although many hispanic look kinda white so I could see dating one in some cases. I have no issues with any of them. I just am not attracted to any of those races.
So I can say "sure, for a black girl she is pretty". But that is kinda saying I just don't find her attractive enough to date.
we don't control what turns us on, it ether does or it doesn't. My son dated a black girl for a while. she was very nice and was good to him. that is all that matters.

As a very white person who isn't particularly attracted to black people I would have to say somebody like Freema Agyeman is about as black as I could find generally attractive.
There is a lot of features on black people that I can pinpoint as being unattractive for me personally, obviously the more mixed you are the less pronounced these features end up being.

The statement sounds rude but factual, at least to me.
A lot of the internet is white since a large portion of developed countries are white, this is reflected in the amount of content you will find that favors the GENERAL likes AND dislikes of white people, as per your "why this ranking doesn't seem to apply to black girls".

I am not Black but to me when someone says this, it's not a compliment at all. It's rather a back-handed compliment which implies that particular Black girl isn't as pretty as other Non Black girls, but she's CONSIDERED as pretty among the rest of Black girls. Ignorant statement.

Such remark is not meant to be a compliment by any means, it just means that the person thinks black girls aren't pretty but they find said black girl to be a bit prettier that her fellow black females, so they told her "you are pretty for a black girl" ... but they still find her not pretty comparing to other girls in general.

I don't really rank anyone separately. Most people today are mixed anyway and there are so many different culture combinations.

I do think i go for really light or really dark skin more than in between though. And the emo look on black girls is a major weakness for me.

... I'm guessing a white guy said it? it's kind of harsh, but most black women aren't very attractive to white guys. Quite a lot of them seem to be badly overweight... I don't know what's going on with the hair and why they spend so much money buying something that grows on their skull for free... and the attitude. What that means:
Whoever rated you is typically not very attracted to black girls. No, not because of being black, but because they have a different facial structure/look that certain people aren't attracted to. Same with Asians and other races.
