Not necessarily. There are more traits to narcissism than just taking selfies. There is nothing wrong with loving yourself. More people should. It becomes a problem when you're too self-absorbed or when you have a major sense of entitlement. Some people are so much in love with themselves that they have too high of an opinion of themselves. They feel they have no faults whatsoever. They spend all their times taking pictures of themselves and posting in on social media to show off.

If you have a picture of yourself as a wallpaper because you like it, go ahead. Narcissism is more about attitude than taking a photo or posting it.

I think that would be a bit of a harsh judgement - A lot of people use a pic of themselves with other people so that is kinda of a selfie - What I would say is I that I would find it strange not narcissistic.

Not necessarily. I substitute teach middle school and high school (grades 7-12, ages 12-18) and I see that ALL THE TIME!

I tease these students by saying "don't you get tired of looking at your face all the time?" hehe
