+1 yIntresting debate question one the one hand yes women should have the right to take of their shirt and bra where ever but at the same time to do so would in fact highten the clame of sexually harassment against men even if men don't care. Hum I think more research must be done in to the matter for example I have question for you. Men and women play sports in sports there is a skins and shirts separation sometimes like in basket ball if a woman did choose to play and she was on skins team then she would obviously knowingly take of her shirt but should her Brest tuch a guy and she complained sexually harassment then the guy is likely to be punished by today's legal consteuct. I know it seems outlandish my clame but things like that do happen to me women can assume a guy is creepy or sexually harassing her when in reality the man is not and it dose in reality happen often. So the real question is are women and men both ready to except the social changes that would be needed to make something like that work? The other question is the legal diffinition of sexual harassment and the legal understanding of he concept would have to change so as not to create any undue miss judgment on innocent men and in this case women. Is the law ready to change across the board which in reality it's not? Another example is that women would now be in a position where more sexually harassment classes would be taken against women and yes I'm sure it seems odd but equality means that the same issues men go threw legally would now be an issue for women as well. If it did go threw the reality is that many men would be going to jail then court for issues like this and after a while many women would be going to jail for those same issues not nesisarily because they are guilty but simply because of misunderstandings. I do not think the legal system is ready for such a reform should it happen yes but if it does happen then there needs to be a large change in the judicial system which the government clearly won't do correctly and in turn will cause an in ballance an put many innocent people away for crude misunderstandings. It sounds out landish what I say but it is true that we have to look at the reality of our world as it is, and think about what a system change like that would do not only in the long run positive, but in the short run negatives and how to modigate those issues fairly for all.
03 Reply- +1 y
The problem is our legal system isn't fair and our society isn't equil so how do we as a society midigate the issues that are sure to come? Also I say short run but let's face facts a short run could take decades if not a century before becoming a sound system.
Asker+1 yWhat if it was instead for the women to be able to remove their shirts, they'd still have bras but no shirts

I don't care for legalizing it. It should be legalized so there is less taxes spent on women's ugly boobs and nagging. But if you don't have a culture to regulate unfettered freedom whether it be sexual freedom, promiscuity, or showing your boobs off, you will end up just bitching more, shaming the opposite sex more, mentally abusing children more, and finding ways to tax more.

It's stupid, is this what modern day feminists have to fight for now? If they want equality fight for men to keep their shirts on, women just keep getting more and more pathetic with these issues they fight for. They did the Free the Nipple campaign and had many supporters before it, but in the end, only a few actually did it. A lot of women (like myself) just don't feel comfortable with it. I guess it's good we have the choice though.

Hey, I've gotta just put this out there: you know that by exposing your breasts in public you become a potential target to perverts and unwanted pictures.. Discreetly taken of course, I'm not saying that's what I would do if I saw a topless woman but please take a moment of your time to think about what' it would effect.. Because of the sexualisation of breasts in pornography I'm 9/10 sure that men would go into there Creepy ass SOAB mode in no time, there would be grooming.. Probably a lot more sexual offences due to the weak people's lack of self control when aroused... In social media I doubt anybody really cares, they just wanna disagree with something.. But I'm hoping that after reading this reply, you'll develop a better understanding as to why this may not be a good idea... I fully support women's rights by the way. Suffragette's are on my respect list. I hope I haven't offended you or anyone else who has read this, please leave a reply if you read this comment. Thank you. ✌️❤️

What Girls & Guys Said
Opinion
50Opinion
No it's kinda ridiculous in my opinion.
Little kids will see them. Don't we already have enough sexualization?
Some men WILL stare, it's inevitable. Thus rape will only skyrocket.
Also, some people don't want to see other women's breasts.
Imagine old people. Sorry to say, but I personally don't want to see that.
But why in the first place would you actually want to show intimate parts of your body to complete strangers? Why not only to the person who your heart belongs to?
What would happen if there was a campaign for men called "free the dicks". That's just plain ridiculous. Same with breasts.27 Reply
Asker+1 yYou, and many others say it would cause more women to be raped. You say that women would be sexual izel and men would be staring at them. You also say you wouldn't want to see old women with their shirts off exposing them. However there are things you do not realize. Old men have their shirts off all the time, you think we wanna see that? And it's not the women that are making it a sexual thing, that is all the guys. it is not women's fault that they were born with the "programming" to one day have boobs. Would it be wrong if little girls wore swim trunks without a shirt on as they do not yet have breasts or would that also be attracting oerverts and asking to be raped?
- +1 y
Yeah I understand, of course it's the guy's fault if a guy rapes a woman. But at least the women could have tried to prevent it in some way. By covering up her boobs.
I see it like a burglary. You can tell a criminal not to burglar, but he might do it anyway. The best thing you can do to prevent this, is to always lock your door etc.
And it's not really guys fault either that they were programmed to get horny of boobs XD
I don't know about little girls, I think they don't need one (they can go topless). Once at a swimming pool, there was a little girl (about 2 or 3 years old) and she was COMPLETELY naked (i looked away quickly after realising). I mean, what kind of parents does she have? That's not acceptable of course, but i think they can go topless, untill they get breasts.
And yes you're right about old men. I also don't think men should take their shirt off in the streets, but only when going to the swimming pool and/or at home and/or in a very quiet place. - +1 y
Rape is more about dominance than sex, it doesn't matter what she wears.
So what if children see breasts they're natural and harmless, it's only good for them to see real bodies. Breasts are not sexualized unless you make them, which children don't.
What if I don't want to see disabled, bald or short people, should they be outlawed in public too? What if I don't want to see shoulders or legs, the same with that?
Some people don't consider breasts to be intimate parts, they're there too feed our offspring.
The "free the dicks" comparison is plain ridiculous, breasts does not equal dicks they're not genitals.
Men already have the right to show their "breasts" it's only fair women have too.
Asker+1 y@ShaeNielson I agree fully. This campaign does not mean all women will be walking around with their breasts out, it only means that they would have the choice to do so if they wanted to. And I feel instead of telling women they should cover up or else men will stare maybe we should teach men to not sexualise women and view women as a piece for their pleasure.
- +1 y
Im gonna reply to your post too, because you're completely out of line.
"She should have tried to prevent it" So women are at fault for getting raped too, because men are these barbaric beings who cannot control their sexual desires? Way to shit on both genders.
It's not her fault that her natural body makes men horny, that's their problem.
And about the little children; maybe don't sexualize babies? They can be as naked as they want to and you know why? Because they are children, they're about as sexual as palm trees or crocs, you should not feel the need to look away when a child is naked, in fact you should think absolutely nothing of it. - +1 y
@Asker exactly, it's about women's bodies not being "criminalized" because men are attracted to them. It's about equality.
+1 ywhile it does seem like equality for women to go topless since men can, it does make sense for women to cover up in public. Female breasts develop at puberty whereas mens do not, it is a signal that a female is of reproductive age and we usually try to shield children from such things. Although men can have facial hair in public so I'm not quite sure :/
regardless I personally would hope that they stay a private part, as soon as society stops sexualising breasts the fun goes away and is no longer a turn on. Way to ruin one of my favourite things :( I'd be devastated, seriously!29 Reply- +1 y
What even is sexually motivating about breasts? Maybe I'm just weird but I fail to become aroused by the sight of breasts and genitals... Do you think there's something wrong with me dude? Let me know what you think could be the cause of this or just your general opinion
- +1 y
@MrMaskyMoon Evolution ( if that's your worldview) There are many theories but I doubt anyone knows for sure. One is that straight men have evolved the fixation with breasts to activate the females maternal bonding circuitry strengthingying their relationship. Also probably because it's a " naughty bit" more animal like, that we don't usually see. At 18 I think if your not aroused by women you never will be sorry. How about girls asses? I'm guessing not. You're either homosexual ( and if so that's fine accept it) or asexual meaning you don't desire sex ( pretty rare though)
- +1 y
Thank you for responding, it's not that I'm not attracted to women it's just that their body features don't attract me. I'm not gonna pretend that I'm all about personalities or anything because I genuinely have no idea what motivates my attraction to women :/
P. S in case you haven't guessed already from this reply. No I'm not attracted to their asses.
Also I have ASD (Aspergers syndrome) so I don't know if that could have some kind of link to it. - +1 y

- +1 y
This is getting a bit personal lol. I don't think you could masturbate succesfully ( until orgasm) unless you were aroused by a females body ( unless it's just their face)
Asker+1 y@MrMaskyMoon my brother has aspbergers and he has never really shown too much interest in female parts either. But he does sometimes find a girl to be attractive I guess? I don't know how to explain it but he basically identifies as asexual. He doesn't desire sex with anyone but he still likes the "romance" part.
- +1 y
I feel like me and your brother should be friends xD, I've never come across or heard of another person with similar views as me on the matter :) sorry I'm keeping this short and basic because I'm currently quite tired but later I'll probably come back and respond properly. Thank you for your responses though 😋✌️
+1 yNo.
Think of how the way our sexual assault laws work. Furthermore, we live in a society that is growing increasingly concerned with rape culture and workplace harassment.
My fear is that if nipples are exposed, it could undermine these laws and lead to a lot of people falsely going to jail due to a legal technicality. For example, if someone slips and accidentally falls into a woman's breasts. Then he is looking at a sexual assault charge.
Especially on campuses which are ridiculously feminist and liberal, where the women will want to see the man punished even if he did not mean anything.10 Reply1.9K opinions shared on Society & Politics topic. I like women's nipples, I think nakedness is normal and I just don't get the controversy. I run without a shirt occasionally, and I certainly support women doing the same. Here's a hint if you don't like what you see, then don't look. And why is it in the west that it's more acceptable to see someone get killed then it is to see a woman's breast?

Asker+1 yThat's a good question
Gonna be a lot of saggy tits in their future lol. On one hand I fully support seeing naked tits. But on the other hand I do think as a society we should maintain a level of modesty. I don't think women having to wear at least a sports bra is unreasonable as well as good for their boobs lol. Girls can show off their midriff. Pretty much everything except the nipples. I can't say I feel for women on this one. But if this campaign does go in their favor, women everywhere better stfu for life about guys staring. Seriously. Forever lol.

Asker+1 yCan I ask why?
Asker+1 yOk I'll try to remind you tomorrow
And thanks
Asker+1 yCan you explain now?
- +1 y
Ok thank you for reminding me and yes I can explain now.
I don't agree or support this movement because it's attempting to make it seem like women's breasts and men's chests are the same when in reality they aren't. And never will be not from a biological standpoint and not from a visual one either. What you see on men is muscle what you see on women is sexual, used in sex, arouses them and is used for feeding a child, and I just don't believe they should be flaunted around. And the whole movement is frankly stupid these women could be using their time and money for much better causes.
Also women already complain that men catcall them what do you think would happen if they started walking around without a bra and shirt on? We've already an increase in sexual assault, attempted rape, molesting and perverted behavior with the gender void bathrooms, what do you think will happen if women started walking around shirtless and bra-less?
Asker+1 yOk well if you're worried about more rape and cat calls towards women maybe the men should be educated instead of making worm hide themselves. Do you think all women should wear turtle necks and long pants so as to not show off anything?
- +1 y
I'm not worried about it because people around here actually have common sense.
Did I say women should wear turtle necks and long pants? no I didn't but use common sense and realize that walking around half naked isn't going to solve nor fix anything. It's a ridiculous movement and all it will do is further delve society into the cesspool it's becoming.
Asker+1 yWhat you said was that women should cover themselves up more so that men don't get the wrong idea. I'm just making my point by saying you wouldn't want them all to have to cover up their entire body. And why is it ok for men to go around shirtless then?
- +1 y
No what I said was I don't agree with women walking around with no shirts and bra's on that's all I said you came up with the rest all on your own.
And it's ok for men because men don't have breasts what you see on our chests is literally a muscle the pectoral muscle to be exact and that's all. We don't have breasts, and women's breasts are considered sexual objects, you use them in foreplay you use them in sexual ways during sex, you use them to feed babies and their purpose is different then the chest on a man.
A mans chest and a woman's chest are different and I never stated that it was alright for a guy to walk around town or a city with no shirt on either. But at the same time we don't have to worry about covering ourselves up as much.
I've explained what you asked I don't feel the need to say anything more. - +1 y
Women shouldn't have to cover up more. I f some one rapes another person, it is entirely down to the rapist.
In an ideal world, people would just not be dicks to each other, but sadly thaat's not the case. For the same reason someone weak and vulnerable shouldn't walk around in a rough area alone at night, people shouldn't walk around alone half naked.
They SHOULD be able to and feel safe, but there will always be dicks in the word no matter how much you educate people.
I'm not saying women should have to completely cover themselves, or even shouldn't wear revealing clothing. But they should bear in mind that unfortunately twats exist, and having completely exposed breasts isn't going to help you.
With tits my size that's never going to happen.

Asker+1 yCan I ask why?
- +1 y
Because I don't like the idea of having tits everywhere. I consider female boobs as sexual and by freeing the nipples it will remove the excitement of seeing boobs
Asker+1 yOk so why should guys be able to then? Why can't we keep their chests a secret too?

Well said

Because asker we don't have sexual part to show. You have sexual parts to show.

Although skinnyorhunk and ElissaDido have pretty much gotten this said I've gotta add one more thing to hit the nail on the head. You ask why men should be able to and not women although it's been said that women's nipples are seen as a sexual part of the body by most people. Another reason for this may actually be: I don't know if you've noticed but I'm quite sure that a lover can interact with a woman's nipples causing the woman to be aroused, in other words, nipples are sort of a turn on area for women. Whereas for men, we have no sensitivity in our nipples. It's hardly common to hear about a lover arousing a man by interacting with his nipples.. So think about that for a moment. Thank you for reading and good day to you.
P. S I'm all for woman's rights by the way Suffragettes for life y❤️✌️❤️✌ so please don't start hating on me with some next level autism :).
Asker+1 y@MrMaskyMoon Thankyou for all your input it's really great, but please understand I posted this question to see what the response would be. I'm not saying I don't think it's kinda foolish, and I see what you mean by it being a sexual thing, but we as women also get "turned on" as you put it by seeing guys without their shirts on. Just cause we would have our boobs out doesn't mean we'd always be turned on.

No problem, and yeah I understand the last bit. My apologies for not explaining myself fully 😅
Thank you for pointing that out for me, now I know to read over opinions and questions more carefully.
+1 yBe proud... Show your nipples...

women have twice to 3 times as much of an issue when it comes to getting raped
yet girls wanna free there nips lol
and at the same time they speak about rape issues at these events, it has nothing to do with freeing nips but everything to do with rape
my advice ladies
if you don't wanna get raped carry a knife and slit the guys throat the chance you get
that simple
its a stupid thing, i won't support it.
