Why do mexicans and arabs look alike?

Nah they don't look like to eachother they both have dark skin and black hair thats the only common thing with them. I had both Mexican and Arab friends and I can say most of pure Mexicans look like to Native Americans ( Indians ) or you can say their ancestors Aztecs but Arabs are more diffrent compared to them, there are some Arabs who look like Central-Africans a bit and some look like Persians and some don't.

Because Mexicans are descendants of Spaniards, and Spain was ruled by Arabs and Africans by hundreds of years. Spaniards look like Arabs, Mexicans look like Native American Arabs.

Then Spanish people conquered the Aztecs incas and etc

They inter mingled and many of them carried on that genetic coding

THIS. In general, "mestizos" (latinos) do not have the "honkers" of Arabic women. And yes, I have known Lebanese women who were still hotties, larger noses notwithstanding.

@Curmudgeon Like in the north Hollywood area, Sherman Oaks in the 90's i found it hard tell between Armenians women and Latinas. The obvious tell was the arm hair and eye brows if unkempt.

Even Arabs, Persians and Armenians will think you pass as them in LA. I frequent the garment district in DT, it happens.

They really do , me myself as a mexican I see a very huge look a like between latinos and arabs more than any Other nation! My friends are Arabs and they get mistaken a lot, example look at Nicole Saba, Cyrine Abdel nour, Nancy Agram, Haifa wahbey , sherine abdel wahab, elyanna, mariam fares, each one is different but they are all arabs exactly like latinos plus they have Afro Arabs the same with us we are diverse the same with Them!

@TwinFace no, I've lived in Japan before and I have Korean family so I'm positive that I can differentiate between those nationalities in most cases when I see them. There actually are a lot of giveaways like the eye shape, nose, face shape and even skin tone if you pay attention to those.
But I agree that this group looks similar, kind of like Vietnamese, Thais and Cambodians look similar.

And no, the average Arab looks nothing like the average Mexican, it's mostly the eyes, body hair & face shape that gives them away, here, as well.

But of course you can always find examples of people of both nationalities looking alike if you're really looking for them. I could easily find a picture of a German person looking just like a Turkish if I wanted to - that doesn't mean that ALL Germans look like Turks and all Turks look like Germans. In fact, not even all Turks look alike.

Ofcourse not all of them look alike but most. I think what makes chinese and koreans differ from japan is ther lighter skin. Japan has more tanned skin in my observations. Those 3 nationality have almost the same identical bone structures, eyes, hair and basically everything. Just know that people dont view the world in the same perspective as u so to some people its perrty hard to distinguish. Heck people can't even guess what am i between the 3 nations >.>

Both of those women have Euro genes mixed in, which has diluted their more native features and made them look similar. But neither woman is very representative of their country. The average Arab and Mexican don't look very much alike.
