What does it mean when someone says take care?

At the end of a convo almost every human says take care to me after saying bye, even my coworkers, friends, customers, random strangers on the road and just everyone. I feel so sad when they say that, does that mean they hate me and they never wanna see me again or they just don't want me to bother them/talk to them anymore or is it a bad thing when someone says that? :( if not what does take care mean to you, when you say if at the end of a convo?

there's two meanings in my book :
The first when friends, co workers and family say take car it means " You better make sure you make yourself happy out there"

The second is for ex lovers "take care" makes me grind my teeth because it means from them "You were just a number in my phone book so good luck to ya!" unless they really care and then it means " I hope your life is full of happiness and you better make sure you do everything you want"

Most times It means Be safe or Be careful.

It's not that they think something will happen to you. But anything could happen at any time. It could also be said as a goodbye. My mom, teachers, friends, siblings say that to me when I'm leaving from where they are. My uncle said that to us when we were leaving their house in Florida to go back to Georgia. I say it to my friends if we're ending a conversation. It's just another ending to a conversation like "Goodbye, See ya later"

I usually say it to a friend or a form of goodbye or goodnight to someone like take care, I'll ttyl or something

Just a salutation like "Bye", it is not that final
