When a man tells a lady to “ take care”?

I was speaking to a male work colleague/friend and at the end of the conversation he told me to take care …. Does this mean … I will never see him again? And does it mean he cares about me? Would you say this to someone you didn’t like?

I'd say it to anyone... man or woman. It's a common ender to an in person conversation. You are really reaching here.

The phrase take care originates from alcoholics anonymous. Unless you're an alcoholic he's saying it for the sake of saying something and it means absolutely nothing
