Why are people so fake?

It's just so goddamn frustrating to me. For instance, my sister went out today for the going away party of someone she CANNOT FUCKING STAND and wrote this deep and personal "i love you it sucks that you're leaving" card and has recently uploaded a story to Snapchat saying "goodbye love you!!"

Why, for the love of God, can people not just say "I refuse to deal with you, leave me alone. Like permanently."
How do fake people live with themselves? And why do you openly choose to be so fake?

I am not saying that all people are like this. In my experience, it seems to be more common in women though.

There is this one girl I know who is exactly like that! I don't know. I don't know how she can be like that. It actually amazes me that a person like her exists. Among other things, she's "friends" with people she used to talk bad about, and these friends of hers don't really like her either, but for some reason they actually want to please her. It's bewildering. Together, they'd act like they're all best of friends, but they'd badmouth her behind her back. Well, her group of friends' all pretty much like that, but she's the worst, the absolute worst.

I used to say to a friend of mine that if I didn't like a person, I wanted them to not like me too so that the feeling's mutual. She found it weird. I didn't think it was back then, but I can now see why one would when so many people are just so damn fake.

Wanna know a honest answer?
I have that friend, who is one of the most desirable girl and she's always fake. She's funny nd nice outside and hard to communicate at home.
She's playing as if she respects or likes someone and when she comes back at home she tells me " Ohh he got me so tired", "He's so boring", "Omg he's texting again, fuck, I don't want talking with him". But she smiles at them when they see each other. And you know what?
Guys like "fake" girls. And maybe even girls like fake guys who act as if they are real.

She's acting like a bitch at home but outside everyone thinks she's the dream girl.

@Alex88F I am very attractive girl but when I am with her, she catches all the guys attention, you know why? Cause when I start saying something funny story that she also knows, she doesn't give me a time to finish it and she tells this story instead of me.
She laughs when she doesn't want to laugh, she makes fun of others. She hates when someone jokes about her, once I joked about her, cause she also jokes about me sometimes and she got so bitchy that started making of humiliating jokes about me.
I know guys will always like her, that's just human nature, maybe I also like that kind of guys who are fake. But I don't care anymore.

eh yeah and i can say that this happens also with boys. i have a friend of mine who is like this and onc ei told him he's being rude when he keeps interrupting people of putting other people down. thats something that, for me, if a girl do that im turned off - i learnt from my mistakes with this other girl

Well in my experience, this is a very "funny story", I had a friend who kept telling me I was her best friend, when I left my parents' house, she managed to disappear. And she came back when she knew I had a boyfriend back then. LOL Hypocritical much?

people loke fakes as much as they enjoy dramas etc. that's the Whole thing going on when you see what its on the tv and you think is reality - you lie and put a mask on pretending you're someone else.

I really don't understand it either. My best friend does this and I tell her that I can't stand her when she acts all nice and sweet around this person she tells me she hates. She explained to me that its easier to be her friend than to be not friends.
