Why can people fake personalities so easily?

It's crazy to see, personally I literally can't, I can try for few minutes but with me they will always be able to detect the vibe, I don't have the power in me to be fake, or fake a personality, my change of perspective is easily noticeable by my behavior around them, I wonder if anyone else is the same cause even on here I be seeing people fake personalities and create personas all the time like damn that's crazy 😂

Yo, yo, dude... for real though, you're already yourself, for good or bad, a true authentic G, you feel me homie? you might want to reflect on why you feel you can't fake a personality, and what that says about your values and character. Perhaps you are someone who values honesty, integrity, and authenticity, and who is not afraid to be yourself. That is something to be proud of and celebrate brutha. Listen pal' being authentic means being true to yourself and acting in accordance with your values, beliefs, personality, and goals. It also means being honest, open, and respectful of others too, bro. Oh man., however, being authentic is not always easy or clear. Sometimes, you may feel confused, conflicted, or pressured by external or internal factors that influence your sense of self. You may also have different aspects of yourself that you show in different situations or roles. So, how do you know if you're being authentic? There is no simple or objective answer to this question, as authenticity is largely subjective and personal, so Just keep it real dog... ight'?

I always saw it as rather pointless since if we want to make true friends, they're going to get to know that hidden and truer side regardless. So I much prefer the most authentic and open book types of people and try to be as much as I can myself, since those people have the "what you see is what you get" quality.

That said, I do find many facets to my personality. For a start, I'm half-American and half-Japanese, for example, and I spent many years in both countries to the point where I often question if my American side (which tends to be far more assertive, bold, and cocky) vs. my Japanese side (which tends to be far more agreeable and modest) is truer than the other, or if both are true.

I try to summon the side which I think is appropriate for the social situation, like bowing very modestly to Japanese people and being far more modest and offering the firmest and most confident handshakes to American people. Yet I can't tell which of those two personalities are truer. They both seem true to me given how many years I lived and adapted to both countries and cultures.

I am not sure how to answer this.
I don't think people are capable of faking an entire personality at least not for a long time - at some point the mask falls off- and if they attempt to do for while, it is usually for reasons such as wanting recognition or validation or they are incapable of facing reality or they are insecure or they don't have a true sense of identity.
However, I am under the impression that in many cases what is more common is that people are capable of displaying another demeanor depending on various factors such as mood (which can fluctuate), people they are around, chemistry or lack of chemistry with said people, place etc.

sometimes, I observe Drama Queen; she uses "masks" when she leaves home. It's her way to be similar to others... She can keep such a "mask" for hours, the whole day, but she returns home exhausted. She literally plays another person. A different voice, laugh, smile, gestures, and facial expressions.

Drama Queen is autistic, like me. My lying or pretending skills don't exist, so I show myself to the world. She tries to adapt by wearing one of her "masks"...

Is it fake or is it the roll you are obligated to roll with?

Me and my brother like to play games, fuck around and goof on each other but he also has the same first name as my boss man. It weird at times. I can't say my boss first name because I go into big brother goof off mode too quick. I still have to respect both of them as men.

We all have different modes or at least we should (my guess incest is your favorite tag) in all different communities that is true for all of us.

I'm rowdy at a bar and at peace in a church, not a moment. I think I'm not being true and honest of the man I wanna be.

This is not faking personality, however I do have different versions of me, there is the at work me, there is the senior manager me with other seniors, there is me with my friends, there is me with a girl etc. all are slightly different versions of me. How I behave with senior managers is different to how I behave with guys I play football with.
