I think he will be a good president. From his victory speech, he seems to have toned down his rhetoric. If he really does love America. then I think he will be a good president. I hope for our sake he will be good.

That, I believe, is why he hired Pence. Reagan was overwhelmed too, hence why he chose such a strong cabinet.

@ObscuredBeyond yes and Reagan still overall did terrible. He was the beginning of the end. His administration was probably one of the most corrupt ever, he cut taxes for the rich in half setting records for budget deficits and massively widening the gap between rich and poor, it was a crazy idea to being with and it unsurprisingly didn't work. And if that wasn't enough his anti strike actions killed the middle class.
And let's not even start talking about the middle east

I don't think america can handle another Reagan

Yes, I think Hilary's concession speech was beautiful.

Anyway, I don't think he is going that terrible. Did you hear that bit about how John Kasich was interview as potential running mate and he was asked if he had any interest in being most powerful vice president in history, as Trump's VP would be in charge of domestic and foreign policy. And when he asked what would Donald Trump do, they said "make america great again "
      www.nytimes.com/.../...icked-his-running-mate.html

So maybe what you should be worrying about what Mike Pence will be up to. Now that he can't tweet anymore, I literally expect Trump to sit in chair the next 4 years

@Thisperson98 LGBTQ+ rights, women's birth control and health care is apparently going to become unaffordably, having a president who essentially condones sexual assault makes me scared that people will also be more likely to try and hurt me because "the president says its okay". I'm scared to see what people actually will do now.

To me it could be seen as a safety concern, not learning English and coming here spouting that unrecognizable language, for all we know they are conspiring against us. Its deceptive and it needs to stop. Also taking all the American women. It isn't right. Country can't take care of their own but they wanna kiss everybody else asa

@dogsteeves Hillary isn't any better than Trump.
      - Her Foreign Policy Record Is Dismal
No doubt you have heard that Hillary’s view of the world and her foreign policy experience is far more preferable to Trump’s unsteady, uninformed policy of disengagement. I mean... I have my own concerns with Trump’s statements on foreign policy. But he has not yet received an intelligence briefing, nor does he have a fully developed team of advisors.

Hillary Clinton, on the other hand, has a long record, and it is dismal. Just as disengagement is wrongheaded, creates instability and conflict, and can cost American and ally lives, so does naïve arms control, poorly executed intervention, and aimless, protracted warfighting.
      - Hillary Clinton Is Responsible for Effectively Offering State Secrets to Our Enemies
-The Clintons Have a Lengthy Record of Corruption
      - Hillary Clinton Is Zealous for Hyper-Liberal Causes

He should do everything he can to root out all of the corruption that is in Washington. That should be one of his most important goals. Not only is Trump the winner, so are Republicans for both the House and the Senate.

President Obama received undergraduate degree in political science with a specialization in International Relations from Columbia University in 1983. Columbia is an Ivy League school currently ranked ninth in the country by U. S. News and World Report.

President Obama also graduated magna cum laude from Harvard Law School (J. D.) in 1991, where he also served as president of the Harvard Law Review -- a huge honor. Harvard Law School is ranked the second-best law school in America.

From 1992 until 2004 he taught constitutional law part time at the University of Chicago Law School, first as a lecturer, then as a professor.

Russia is already reaching out in friendship now that they don't have to worry about Clinton starting a war in Syria on behalf of Saudi Arabia for an oil pipeline.

You think we were at odds with them in Syria over oil! We were at odds with them because instead of targeting ISIS like they promised, Russia has carpet bombed refugee camps, hospitals, and any city where the people are opposed to Assad. Trump's "closer relationship" with Russia meams turning a blind eye toward their war crimes or even helping them.

Look at how much money the Saudis gave Hillary. It was about the oil. Hell, ISIS only exists because Obama couldn't get the backing of the American people for direct military attacks on Syria. So, they covertly funded the rebels, who then created ISIS.

*sigh* check your geopolitcs. Saudi Arabia supported Hillary because they know that with Trump in office, any pressure from the US against Russia will be gone and they can bomb the rebellion into dust. The Saudis do not care about human rights, but they are supporting the rebels because they hate Assad. Also, how could the rebels have created ISIS when ISIS showed from day one that one of its top goals is to kill as many Syrian rebels as possible? ISIS was created in Iraq by the former military officials of Saddam Hussein after living in hiding since the regime fell in 2003.

I'd preferably have one of the third parties or completely new candidates.

But I'm alright with Trump, I suppose.
    We'll see how he does.

I think my life will continue to get better and I will continue to ascend because my life does not depend on earthly leaders, but rather is led by the Lord in Jesus Christ.

Anyway, I don't know how I should feel about it, I only followed the debates... Time will tell if he can make a good leader or not

So did Franklin D. Roosevelt to Stalin. And ended WW2 in Europe doing so by creating the powerful trio alliance of UK/US/USSR.

Point being. Kissing the leader of the next most powerful countries ass isn't exactly a bad thing.

How can you be hypocritical enough to say "prepare for WW3" and then at the same time complain he's making positive relations with the country WW3 would most likely involve...

As I said. I hate both. But Clinton is far more likely to start a war then trump, don't think I'm defending trump, I think he's a fucking cunt, but at the same time Hillary is a spiteful evil bitch.

Besides. War is expensive and cripples global economies. Surely would it not be against trumps own personal agenda to cause a war on the basis it would cripple his worth?

Yes he's president but he's still a billionaire businessman looking out for his own financial interests. And war would hurt the rich like him hard.

ANYONE else could have mopped the floor with Trump, and they went with her.

I will say, though, that if someone hadn't been brave enough to leak those emails, we never would have known, considering how in-bed with Clinton the news media is.
