Men grow through challenge and critique, you see a soldier performing bad, his superior will come and he will yell at him, and tell him he is a maggot who can't do anything good, that soldier will try to prove his superior wrong and will give a lot more now that he has been challenged.
Women on the other hand grow through praise. Let's say your woman is getting fat, if you tell her "honey you are too fat, you should excersice" she will not feel encouraged to do it. However if you tell her how beautiful she is leggins and a sports bra, you tell her you love seeing her sweat after doing physical activity, she will consider excercice on a daily basis.
I have to agreeā” Only a dumb man criticizes a woman's weight lol.
Challenge is an opportunity to develop character. Doing so is up to you. Two people can have the same challenges and while one falls apart the other grows stronger by overcoming it or getting through. Character is not bestowed upon you, just because you have problems. How you handle those problems determines everything.
It depends how they react to the challenge. If they react in an immature way then no, it doesn't make them stronger, if they react maturely then they become stronger.
Not the challenge as such, but how someone chooses to overcome it can definitely strengthen them as a person
they can, though it really depends on 1) the challenge and 2) the person's outlook.

It depends, I think the moral part of a person is not going to improved by challenges in fact is someone is in too much of a bad/ desperate situation I think it could have a negative effect. But if someone has never really had to face hardship and work a lot then I think it could definitely improve someone's character, not the moral part but make them more responisble more confident more independant, more able to get things done and you could also learn a lot. So it's not just yes or no for me.
In French they say "ca passe ou ca casse"
Either you make it, or everything goes to shit.
A challenge can make you stronger.
A challenge you can't overcome can break you, and ultimately make you weak.
Obviously depends on the challenge, the available solution and what happens after.
Tell you what though, I wholeheartedly believe that people who go through their challenges end up more interesting people.
That said, what is a challenge might be different to all of us. To some, it might be not clicking anonymous.
Absolutely yes. Every experience in life, good or bad, presents an opportunity to grow. But you have to choose to do so as well.
Depends on the challenge and the person, but ultimately, yes.
Challenges don't improve a character, but overcome challenges improve a persons strength.
Yes I do. Give an unhealthy/unfit person who doesn't workout or try to help themselves, a bodybuilder'a body. They will fuck that body up and wouldn't know how to maintain it properly because they havnt gone through the challenges to get there. They don't have it in the most important place to have it at, their mind.
Challenge, struggle, pain and suffering only shine light in what was hiding in shadow. And show a persons true colors and who and what they really are.
I think that unnecessary challenges are just frustrating. I think there a huge number of unnecessary challenges in the world and very few meaningful ones.
Yes because you can only understand what kicked you in the teeth.
Absolutely. Its not the easy things in life that impact you its the hard things that you had to overcome that give you insight and strength.
Even in defeat or failing, you still gain experience and learn from your mistakes.
God no.
Challenges are just that, obstacles, they don't impact anything other than what they directly effect.
There are people with stellar personalities and character who didn't endure much and vice versa.
Story of my fucking life. All the challenges made me a stronger person.
No believing in GOD changes people, then the act of study change's people more, after that I can't say much else change's people
Yes I think so big time
Depends on both challenge and the person.
Yeah I'm sure it does
Depends on the person
Sure did for me
