Why do a lot of black girls I know think its ok to get pregnant by guys they don't want a relationship with?

I'm not trying to be racist or anything but of the black girls I know this is a common mentality. A lot of the ones I'm friends with hook up with guys they don't even like beyond sex and even don't mind having children with them.

The baby mama, baby daddy culture is big I notice especially in black communities. I notice a lot of them are having sex and children with men they don't particularly care for or like and only have sex with the men because he has good dick or just to get pregnant and other than that have no interest in being in a relationship with the man or getting married.

It seems a lot of black girls I know rather be a baby mama rather than someones girlfriend or wife.

They also don't seem to care much if the father has any involvement with the child.

One girl I know got pregnant on purpose by a Puerto Rican guy I know because she wanted a baby with "good hair" and then hasn't even told him he has a child on the way because as she says " Its none of his damn business'

This is not just a black issue; it's a woman issue, and more specifically, a feminist issue. For decades now feminism has told women that men and fathers are not important in their children's lives. As a result we have millions of fatherless children who suffer all sorts of emotional, mental and social problems that have a huge impact on society as whole.

I wouldn't say all of them, but I used to work at a Medicaid office and in my experience, Latinas got pregnant more than the blacks.

It depends on the location. Nationally, black women have a higher out of wedlock rate.

In that case, I think it's because a lot of them grew up without father figures, so they lust for a strong male figure. The guys see this and take advantage of them for sex. On a side note, they might have been caught up in the moment and too shy to ask for condoms.

Maybe this only happens with the girls you know or the ones who live in your area.
I don't know why they do this, but if this is true, then it's really sad. And it makes no sense.

I see this as more of a societal issue than a racial one. The importance of the 2 parent household is not stressed in today's society.

I don't think it's okay but most times I think it just happens like mistakes on their part most of them don't want to even be pregnant I'm guessing
