How many kids do you want/have?

Question

For most of my life I wanted no kids and then I started thinking maybe I want two... then for a while I wanted three... now lately I've been wanting like 5.

Im still pretty young and haven't actually had any children yet. 
Im just wondering what the norm is these days :)

It might be helpful to try babysitting some kids. That should help you realize what kind of numbers you can handle.

I think 2 is the maximum for me, and it's still hectic. I ended up holding this little girl and got into a crowded elevator while her little brother stood next to me. The brother distracted me for a second trying to sword fight me with an imaginary sword so I tried to parry his blows and tried to counter-attack.

Meanwhile I turn around and the little girl has pushed every freaking floor in the elevator (30 floors in that building). Everyone in the elevator was glaring at me so I just grabbed the brother and ran out as soon as we reached the next floor.

After that we took the stairs and I made the girl walk as a punishment, but she thought it was really funny... I thought it was really funny too so I started laughing on the way up. Then she started racing up the stairs and I had to run after her.

Three children.
A boy, a girl (close in age) and the last one, the gender doesn't matter.
The fraternal twin gene runs in my family and since the twin gene tends to skip a generation, who knows what might happen :)

None, having my own children is just something that I do not ever felt I was up for or wanted. Unwilling to ever change my mind on it, never had any children and never wanted any of my own children. Don't even have a partner, significant other, etc., and I don't even care to pursue and chase after one or chase after any anymore.

Although I wouldn't mind having a pet or two some day later on at some point, maybe.
