My girlfriend and I live together and have three children. Two little boys and my little princess and they are the most beautiful gifts I have ever been given. I will never be able to thank my girlfriend enough.

Also, I have a son who is 16 whom I have with a girl with whom I had a one night stand. She did not tell me at the time that she was pregnant and preferred to raise our son on her own.

It is only two years ago that she decided to track me down and tell me that I had a son. I was shocked - to say the least - at the time and this was made harder because, at first, she did not want me, when I met him, to tell him that I was his father. I was not happy about this, but I have to say that she had done an amazing job raising our son on her own and so I reluctantly agreed to her wishes.

Luckily, about 9 months or so after we met, she decided that I could tell him that I was his dad. It was actually an incredible moment and I will always cherish it. Moreover, since then, although my son does not live with me, we are building a good solid relationship and I love him as much as I love my other children.

On top of all this, my girlfriend (the mother of my other three children) accepted the situation and has proved to be a loving stepmom. All things considered, I have gotten a far happier ending that I had any right to expect.

So four children in total and I am the biggest milksop of a dad you will ever meet. If my girlfriend told me tomorrow that she was pregnant again, you would not be able to wipe the smile off my face.

I want zero children, for numerous reasons.

    I have one.

    That may sound harsh.

    It's the truth.

I'd never tell my son that, but he may know it anyway, despite my efforts all of his life to be the best dad that I can be to him.

It's not his fault that he was born.

Imma be that rich auntie, that my neices and nephews can run to when they need something.

"Auntie, I'm drunk af, can you pick me up. I don't wanna go home and get a lecture" "sure thing, be there asap".

I mean I'd obvs text my sibling and let them know that I have their child and I'd keep thwm for the night. I think it's important for kids to know that they have someone else in their corner. One that's not their parent, but a friend AND a parent figure

@Kayayy I know someone who does that and she likes that. Being the auntie to her nieces and nephews. Not everyone needs kids of their own.

However many he wants. At the very least I want one of each. I'd name my son after his dad, and he thought it was ok, my daughter after my mum.

Ideally I'd like a set of twins, they seem like fun, and a handful. But when it comes to child rearing, I think it's something I will be amazing at. Despite what other people say

Either one kid or four. If I have one, I can give him or her extra attention and love, but if I have four, they can give each other extra attention and love.
