How can I become a jerk?

Yeah I'm typical nice guy. I know there are plenty of other poor SAPs on this website who are just as frustrated as me.

I've listened to some good advice though. "Doc Love' has some dating good advice about being tough with women and "a challenge". Also "No More Mr. Nice Guy" was an excellent book. I also really like the movie "School for Scoundrels".

There was one time in my life where I experiment with prohormones (legal steriods). This was about 5 years ago. I actually got roid rages because of the huge boost in testosterone. Never in my life had I felt that way. I didn't care about ANYTHING. I LOOKED FORWARD TO CONFRONTATION. I was saying asshole comments before I even thought about them. Come to think of it, it was a rather wonderful feeling after I've suffered from nice guy syndrome for most of my life.

Anyway we all know the horrible side effects with steroids, etc. DO NOT LECTURE ME THERE. I'm not going back to that method.

However I need advice from other guys out there about any material, training or classes on becoming a scumbag. A little comment like "grow a pair" isn't going to do sh*t. I need a rigorous training course, a "resetting" of my brain.

Also I am in excellent physical shape and very skilled in martial arts. Believe it or not this has actually made me into MORE of a nice guy because I know I could really hurt someone if I had to. I have no aggression left after all the training I do.

I want to know how to be a martial arts expert SOCIALLY and VERBALLY. I want to learn how to handle verbal confrontations like a black belt. There is no formal training for this that I know of.

This is supply and demand right here. go ahead be another fake tough guy. Works better for me anyways. Having a fake personality attracts fake people, so yes you're right if you want to sleep with a bunch of girls it works sure they're hot and sleep around and you might end up with gonorrhea, but I can see the appeal.

There's actually not really that much of a difference between a nice guy and a jerky cocky type, they are both too afraid to be themselves, its a lot easier to play a character than figuring out who you are putting that on the line with a girl and possibly having your heart ripped out.

But if you're really intent on being this asshole type no one is going to talk you out of it (and if they can than its definitely not the right choice for you)...but here's some advice be cocky walk with an undeserved sense of pride, people pick up on this and have no idea if it is deserved or not. But don't overly do it, if you do, than it comes off as fake and insincere (even though it is)..

Next talk to girls like you don't care if they say no, if this is the case then they will want to convince you that they are worth talking to. "When you walk in a room, think I am the hottest MF here, these women don't deserve me"

These are some basics, its not easy but its easier than being yourself.. In my opinion its not really being a real man but I can understand if its the most effective way of getting girls.

To me I say go ahead, when more guys start acting like this, than the girls change there mind and the nice guy is actually outnumbered and thusly more mysterious, but to me this nice guy bad guy battle is all ridiculous be yourself and eventually someone will come along who likes that, but the real key is the more you put yourself out there the more likely it is for that person to come along

I know where your coming from heck I have always why the HELL assholes get laid. I and a perfectly regular guy with manners and a decent average in school can't even get a girl to look at me.

Also the article on this site about how "nice guys" are actually assholes doesn't help the situation.

But after thinking about it for a while I realized that nice guy come in last but also last the longest in a long term relationship.

To answer your question though, drop your GPA by about 2 points (easily achieved by procrastination and laziness), and you'll start attracting "friends" that simply don't know any better than to be asshole. Also watch p*rn till you have no more respect for women.

NOTE: Side effect may include, jail time, drastic loss of confidence leading to depression, wasting all your youth instead of using it to find that girl that will become your life long partner, terrible job, no money, potential living on streets.

you get my point, its not worth it. Just get yourself back in line and you will see that you will find that girl that is right for you.

Well bro I'm in my late 20s. I graduated with honors from a good college and I run my own biz. I'm also a fighter.

Although I've slept with over 20 women (including a 3some) I want a long term relationship. Seems like assholes do well in that too! I've seen women stay in long term relationships with dudes who treat them bad cause it's a challenge.

BTW - I does NOT get easier as you get older. I thought women would mature but unfortunately many of them DO NOT. I can believe how many girls

I agree that there's something weird with many women not going for the nice guys, many of my friends do that and I don't understand it.

But they don't go for assholes, they go for confident guys.

The asshole bit comes in when the guy unfortunately decides he's going to be one. The the relationship generally ends because she wasn't attracted to the asshole in the first place
