Nope. Not proud or ashamed. Don't care one way or another. My ethnicity or nationality doesn't define me.
As it shouldn't, but you can enjoy your cultures.
I agree you can. But I personally don't enjoy anything from my culture.
I prefer my own thing.
In terms of personality, there isn't anything that connects me to the rest of my ethnicity or culture.
I understand, why don't you though?
Because I don't. I just find my culture to be boring.
yes in proud of my culture what we create and where we come from and where we are going as a community.
the people who say otherwise are dumb.
my culture is apart of my identity and how the world views me
Half Puerto Rican half portuguése
It sucks cause that combo made me look very masculine i have a long face for being puertorican and big chin for being portuguése
Don't say that 😂
it's the truth though lmfaoooooooooooo
I'm sure you're fine
im not proud of my ethnicity , but proud of my ethics
Nice word play
gracias Amigo
I am Irish and very proud of my family and heritage. My family and ancestors faced ridiculous amounts of descrimination, but fought through it to provide a better life for my family now. I love irish music, food and culture, and someday hope to go back and see where my family is from (and some of them still live!)
I would not think proud is the right word for me, i'm not proud of it, neither am i ashamed of it. I know i exist and since i can't change any of it anyways, i dont see any reason to be ashamed of it.
Simply puting? NO. I'm a complexed idiot, who doesn't deserve what he has and shouldn't be (living)
by the way, there is NO human who is not African because africa was the NEST of humanity.
No it wasn't
@Dale1982 It was, it's history - the type you study in school
There is no such biological category as Race so - skip that. But yes, otherwise I am proud of where I live and who I come from, recent and distant relatives.
My dad was adopted so I have no idea about my true ethnicity. Will need to a DNA test at some point
im proud, but i dont rub face to others about that. . .
I don't care about things like that and I honestly think that people who cares about that are weird. I'm not looking for a fight or trying to offend anyone, just wanted to share my opinion to the matter.
Im proud of my 25% white 25% Mexican and 50% native American butt!
Should be more of you
huh?
Showing pride
Nationality Yes and the rest NO. But over all I am just proud of myself.
no I think it's stupid to be proud of something you have no control over
I don't really care about nationality. I'm proud of my sons.
Im proud of being an American. I know Im Asian, but I dont consider myself Asian at all. Im American. I was raised here. Both my parents were born and raised here. I speak only English.
ethnicity is determined by your parents and their ancestors. it is neither a source of pride or of shame.
it's time we started moving beyond such ideas if you ask me.
Yes but I don't look at my race as superior. I just am glad I am a member of the race I am. I can relate more with members of my race in certain aspects of life.
I'm %100 African and good looking. We should all be proud to have come this far from the beginning and rejoice in our differences. Let's not envy or fight💜spread joy
You can't be proud of something you self didn't accomplish. If you say you are proud to be black, white, mango, blue. It illogical as it isn't a accomplishment.
it only matters if one has such values.. I can't be proud for something I am not...
No. I wasn't created out of love. I wAs just a result from sperm shooting in the womb.
I am proud of my nationality. I am from Kekistan. 🐸
I'm 100% Chinese. I wasn't always proud of this. I grew up in a white area and when I was a child, that's all I wanted to be. But now o embrace and love my beritage
I don't see a sense in being proud of something I had no control over. I know I'm the bomb, though.
That's awesome 😂
I am a Melting Pot of different things, proud? I am who I am.
Well yeah, just by existing you represent an unbroken chain of generations that go back to the beginning of time
i see somebody has been reading or listening to some Richard Dawkins !
at least what you said is one of my favourite quotes from him.
Those things are nothing to be proud of as you didn't accomplish anything noteworthy with your own personal merits, those things are a chance of birth.
I'm Asian and Japanese. i was born in japan and brought up in USA (little) and Japan, i'm proud of.
Nope. Whites managing to find beef with the other races so easily, such proud, yeah..
so you have white guilt?
@Blake0048 A bit, like ashamed. White figures who are said to be heroes at school, but they did terrible things to the locals
thats not unique to Europeans though... They just developed superior technology faster than everyone else and used it to colonize the world. The concept of conquest is found in every society of every race of people including native people. Without whites modern civilization as we know it wouldn't even exist. Thats nothing to really be a ashamed of.
I am more proud of being Canadian than I am my mostly British heritage.
I'm Irish and proud. Though if you wanted to be technical, i'm an native Irish/Viking mix.
one fourth native American, yet you could never tell by looking at me. I'm as white looking as they come. I don't like the fact that I burn up so easily in the sun without sunscreen. otherwise life is great.
I've always been told that I'm like Heinz 57 sauce. I'm a little bit of everything!
That stuff doesn't matter the me. Your actions are what prove you.
Well mexicans are a mixed race people. Part European part native American so your genetic analysis makes sense.
I'm happy with it. Not sure if there's anything to be proud about the genes you happen to have wound up with.
Nope. Arabs were on the right track but then something called extremism happened and here we are now.
I don't know it in detail. I am mostly Turkish and I have some Egyptian too.
I'm proud of everything else except my nationality. And I have valid reasons for that.
I'm American and I know what my people did I'm not proud of them but we are okay today
Yes, I'm. you shouldn't be worrying about things that aren't in your control.
Yes I'm mainly Welsh and Russian but also English, French, and Norwegian
I'm Vietnamese/Italian, and the only person out of my whole family with Hazel eyes. I'm happy with that :)
I'm English and I am not proud of what my country has become it is full of spongers and users from Europe and with england
I dont know. But I sometime think why can't the world be together. Like only one ethnicity, one religion.
I'm Hispanic. But I want to be white dunno. :(
why?
Why would you say that?
I don't particularly like my skin color.
Whats your skin color?
how f****** yeah I mean I would like to be more than just Spanish but hey at least I'm four different types
yes, I am and I think everybody should be
Unfortunately not everyone is the same
Think^
Why? You have no control over what race/ethnicity you're born into...
@Queen_naki5 I mean not everyone is proud of what they are, sorry for the confusion
yeah, exactly, we all are uniquie and who we are the way we are is something that we should be proud of
Im a javanese and proud one, even i dont quite understand javanese dialect but i still practice its tradition and its value.
sure, embracing the things we can't change makes us happy (:
Yes i am and no one ever should let people take away their pride regardless of hate and racism because people who spread this shit are not confident in themselves
I'm proud to be dominican and to have been raised up in DR but also of my Haitian heritage
I'm proud to be french but I woild like to know where my family come from with more precision
Not really. It's not like I chose. So why be proud of something that you have no control over.
idc tbh. i couldn't care less because i dislike all humans in general lol.
I am German and Scottish Irish in my dad's side, and Sicilian and Native American on my mom's side.
I could have been born into any race so I think most will be happy with what they are since we don't know any better. My ancestors are English and German so that's my background and I'm fine with it
