I'd say most girls in general are either very ugly or just average looking without makeup. I think if we were take away makeup from girls in general guys would look much better than them, because I see cute guys all the time and they never wear makeup but its very rare to find a girl who's pretty without makeup

I know a lot of people say that beauty is subjective, but I think it's more objective than that, and I've found that most people don't really know how to look at and judge facial structures from a purely aesthetic, and even artistic, standpoint. That's why a bit of makeup and some color here and there easily trick their eyes into thinking a face is much more attractive than it really is.

To answer your question though, of course not "most" girls would be considered pretty then. Most are the majority, and the majority are average. Now if you mean whether guys would find attractive the same faces with makeup on versus without, then no, they likely wouldn't unless they truly were attractive to start with.

I always thought Penelope Cruz looked horrible with makeup, and so cute without it.

Honourable mention to Avril Lavigne who looks positively ridiculous with those black-black rings around her eyes, but relatively cute without makeup.

I think people who say they like 'no make up' usually means, don't do the rings-around-the-eyes look. To *look* natural often takes some product. It's nice to even out skin tones or cover a blemish if it makes one feel better, but I don't think women realize how bad it looks when their makeup is dark and dense.

Honestly it's merely because we are so used to seeing people wearing makeup that we expect people should naturally look that great. If it was a societal norm for men to wear makeup you would find them just as unattractive without it. But it's not normal and not something you ever see so there is no higher standard for them other than a face without makeup.

I dont find many of them atractive with it. If you can visually tell they are wearing a bunch of makeup then i dont find them atractive.

It's a catch 22. Makeup RUINS the skin, so girls who wear the spackle, glues and pastes from, let's say, age 12 onward are blocking their pores, weakening their bodies and generally setting themselves to have unhealthy, haggard looking skin by age 30. Personally I go for a bare-faced look (a little toner and low-level moisturizer with sunblock) with a little SPF-charged lipgloss to protect from dry skin and sun damage. Nothing else is really needed.

Well, most people are average, men or women...
You just have higher standards for women because most of them use make up on a daily basis. I, for example, find more aesthetically pleasing women than men in the streets (without make up).
