I think everyone is beautiful in their own way. I don't think anyone is ugly. That doesn't mean I find everyone woman attractive. With that being said MAKE UP does exactly what it is called. If you have acne you MAKE UP for it (with whatever they use). If you want thicker eyebrows you MAKE UP for it, longer eyelashes, tanner skin, darker or redder lips, etc. The list goes on. Me personally I hate the origin of MAKE UP. Everything they "MAKE UP" for is apart of being human. So who tf said we should make up for it? Well I'm sure it came from "Hollywood" which makes sense. If your a director and on Tuesday your actor has a bump apply make up or if you want your actress to have longer eyebrows then apply makeup. So someone in this world saw the opportunity to make it mainstream and create a billion probably trillion dollar industry. The only problem is women are hiding behind it and lacking true confidence which sucks. In this world though I can see how a woman may feel less pretty when they go to a gathering and all of the already pretty girls (based on what most people deem pretty) have MAKE UP on and they go to that gathering exposing acne, thinner eyebrows, shorter eyelashes (IDEK Y THE LENGTH OF YOUR EYELASHES MATTER), rougher skin, etc. So then that woman has to ask herself does she apply make up or does she go to that gathering and look (UNPRESENTABLE or NOT AS PRETTY). Probably 80% of the time they're going to wear make up. In my opinion I love and respect when a woman can confidently 100% feel beautiful in her own natural skin. If I had a woman like that I would tell her she's beautiful every single day and night!

The issue with makeup is if the user is REALLY good it can be a HUGE shock when you see them with out their makeup. Especially if you are dating and have only ever seen them with makeup on. It kinda sets the tone as them looking how they did and then suddenly there is an extreme change and i think its just a lot for the brain to process. Now. If they are a lite user and only change a few things with the makeup but their base self is still visible underneath then its not as bad.

I've only ever dated one woman That was really into makeup. I still remember the first time i saw her with it off. (She was beautiful either way). She was so apprehensive, nervous, what have you. It made me wonder of the makeup was really worth it or if it was doing her more harm then good at that point. One shouldn’t be afraid to show their natural skin like that.

I think girls are beautiful without it. I have friends who wear makeup everyday and they do an amazing job, unlike anything I can do. I have tried makeup before but looking at myself in the mirror with all that stuff on I couldn’t recognize myself and I’ve never felt so uncomfortable in my life. All my life I’ve been more confident in my own natural beauty. Even before trying on makeup I’ve been asked by girls what kind of mascara I use and really it’s just my own natural dark eyelashes.

I feel like when someone wears makeup, you get used to their face like that. When they take it off it's shocking because they look so dull when they really aren't. Your eyes were just used to a more bold version of them. That's my theory.

I don't get why women wear make up. I don't get why men like women who wear it. One day guys, you're going to see her without make up and you may be in for a shock!

Better to see her for herself from the start rather than the mask she is hiding behind. I prefer women who don't wear any because it shows her imperfections but also shows she's proud of who she is and you like her for her, not what she looks like after she looks like she's been in an explosion at a paint factory.

it really depends on someone's basis. personally I think women are beautiful without make up, don't get me wrong there's nothing wrong with using make up especially if it makes you feel beautiful and confident, but I appreciate natural beauty more, maybe that's why I don't watch beauty pageants. it's overrated.

Not necessarily, it's just that we're used to seeing them hide a lot of their flaws or imperfections whilst highlighting their good features, so without all that, there's a noticeable difference.

Women over the age of 19 are pretty ugly without makeup. The only women who look prettier without makeup are teenage girls. Most men will say that all women are prettier without makeup, but they say that simply because they are mangy.

They are about the same as men. Unless they are very young like 16 age girls are beautiful without makeup. But once girls get 25+ they start looking beat. Makeup transforms them into beauties.
