What is the purpose to wear makeup?

It is to hide imperfection, to give a wrong image or to pretend to look like someone they are not. Thus, deep inside, those that wear makeup, and that includes men, are actually dissatisfied with their natural look.

Now as to say that girls actually look beautiful with (or without) makeup is a matter of taste. One can not improve the natural look even with a ton of makeup. All that is achieved is a fake identity that does not correspond to reality. It is basically nothing else than lying to yourself and to the others.

I can understand that someone has the urge to hide a blemish, a scar or some disfiguration from a past accident but that is the exception rather than the rule.

If people were less superficial, they would not have the urge to have to look different than what they look in reality. What does it bring to hide your natural beauty? Right, it brings more issues than it solves because sooner or later, the person you wanted to impress with makeup will realize that he talked or interacted with a fake.

That is very subjective considering beauty is going to be different for everyone. What one person finds as beautiful, the next will not. I am not one that wears a lot of makeup to begin with. Even when going out to a nice dinner, I wear minimal makeup.

My husband certainly finds me beautiful. He says it all the time. Now, that does not mean the next guy is going to have the same opinion as my husband, right? That is what I am talking about.

You may think a certain girl is beautiful and someone else may not, no matter if they wear makeup or choose not to. So, it is completely subjective in the eyes of the person making that judgement. I think there is a lot more beauty to find in a person than just looks and especially those that cake on a ton of makeup. Finding natural beauty in someone is better than artificial beauty with tons of product on your face.

Yeah some might drop from a solid 10 to 5 but, using make up is also a skill they learn and it's pretty amazing of them to be able to do it perfectly, it's a plus point from me...

Some are there who look pretty without makeup, and some who look so good even without make up that they can't use make up to make themselves look prettier lol.

Usually, although there are those women that pile on the makeup and transform themselves into something you wouldn't recognize without it. Also, attitude had a lot to do with whether I find a woman attractive. I've met women that would have been pretty if it weren't for their ugly attitude.

No, I wish 😆... Sometimes you even assume they're not wearing any makeup but it turns out they do... It's scaaary lol... I still prefer the natural look tho... Even if it's not anywhere as good as with makeup... And girls who look good without any makeup are basically goddesses lol
