By the common definition Asians from whole Asia (Includes East-Asians), Persians, Arabs, other middle-eastern, black Africans, Hispanic/latinos, Australian aborigines, Native Americans, The Maori and many other groups is seen as people of color.

But European people with a typically North-, West-, East- and South-European appearance isn't considered people of color. You don't need to be white to not fell into the category. Spaniards, Azerbaijani and many other groups aren't considered people of color just because they're Europeans, not because of their appearance.

Here's my definition:
Everybody is people of colors and that includes albino people too because all of us have colors. White people have blue/gray/green eyes, blonde, dirty blonde or orange hair and a pinkish skin, so they've colors. Albinos have red blood cells making their skin also appear pinkish in addition to having colored body organs. Other people have brown eyes, beige or brown skin and black or brown hair. So nobody is colorless like it or not.

They're considered Asian. Really though why care? It's a worthless term designed to divide people based on the color of their skin. Don't get caught up in it.

Thinking that all Asians are have some advantage is super harmful towards the development of their countries and communities, there are only like 3 highly developed Asian countries and that's really only in the cities. There's still places over there where they're behind on certain things, even third world status if you consider India. They still suffer persecution in western countries, so they are still considered a person of color.

Being a minority is a protected status. By law in the US. Asians have all the advantage of socio economic status as well as the same protection as me. Its not right.

That doesn't mean Asian people have some special privilege. They have high earnings and are educated most but it is hard to get into college as an Asian.

I will point out that black African immigrants have a higher median household income in the US than whites.
