No. You can make your uniform cool with your own individual style. Accessories accessories! Plus, we will have more time to focus on other things than worry about what to wear to school. Some kids are less fortunate to have a different outfit for school everyday. So this uniform idea is very much fair for everyone. It includes safety, where fighting and bullying are lessened because everyone is basically wearing the same clothes. Also makes the school look great as a whole , proper and sharp.

Yes and no. They were meant to promote equality between children of different classes so poorer kids didn't have to feel bad and inferior wearing cheaper clothes and richer kids didn't feel superior and obnoxious wearing more expensive clothes which I think is a good idea. The only real problem is that often schools forget the orginal purpose of uniforms and opt for more expensive uniforms which makes the a struggle for working families to purchase.
No, they are a good idea.
I love school uniforms. I think they are very sexy.
I have never worn them but girlfriends have done so at Catholic School.
Your's is almost as pretty as you :)
no not necessarily
in philadelphia in the 90s they had a massive problem with violence. people being beaten up for what they were wearing or people having clothing stolen. they implemented a dress code and the violence and incidences dropped massively (like barely an issue now).
uniforms are not necessary but they can be highly beneficial
I don't think so. You don't get everyone obsessing over their fashion in school, and it creates a sense of unity. I'm all for it. What sucks is when the school has a crappy uniform

In what sense? They instill an idea of uniformity...
Yes; they're usually hella racist, sexist and transphobic; they sexualise kids' bodies which is super creepy, they make you feel dehumanised and stripped of individuality, and they don't prevent class-based bullying whatsoever which is supposedly what they're meant to do. If anything they increase it by socializing kids to think for example certain hairstyles (by no coincidence largely Black hairstyles) are 'innappropriate', or tatoos make someone look 'trashy'. Such bullshit. Teach kids to embrace and respect diversity rather than trying to erase it via policing clothing
I don’t think they are. I went to both primary and secondary school wearing uniforms and I was happy in both places. It takes pressure off the students having to have the most “in fashion” clothes or whatever. Every student wears the same thing.
I hate school uniforms too but, if they are not used, they would give rise to discrimination among students.
So, in my opinion, school uniforms should be made in taking the opinion of all the students. They’re fine, but they’re expensive. I spent like $1000 on my high school uniform.
A bad idea? For what? I think they’re fine the way they are, and they should keep wearing them.
It look cool in Harry Potter but I think its a bit old fashioned for today its more to represent order and discipline
In my opinion everyone should wear whatever they feel like/are comfortble in, as long as it doesn't hinder learning.
Yeah. Then there would be no women walking around in booty shorts
Not for me. I love uniforms. Less time trying to be fashionable and failing.
School is work training. Just make the uniform not sexy and your fine!
Girls look more hot in them.. really love to have sex
No, the main reason is to avoid classism
poorer kids will usually get bulliedI'd usually say that they are but at the same time I can't resist a cute Japanese girl in school uniform ;)
no the uniform represents when we discovered the opposite sex
No its only americans that see this as bad whilst the rest of the world laughs at us.
No it takes the whole idea you have to dress a certain way out of the school environment
No, they help disguise class difference through uniformity
Old fashioned system of communism and religions. Must deleted from the system.
