    Of course not. My favorite Star Trek Next Generation episode;

    Picard has always regretted his brash, wild youth. He was sleeping around with different women, he got into fights constantly, he was arrogant and irresponsible.

    So he wished this incident where he got into a fight and nearly died had never happened.

    Q, granted his wish. And when he returned to the present day universe, he was a low ranking engineer aboard the Enterprise.

    It was hilarious!!!

    He learned that without his propensity to take risks in his youth, he would have never learned about how precious life is and what a privilege it is to be alive.

    Yes but you'll never be a high flyer unless you're lucky. However, you decide what is happy and success for you.

    I don't believe you can fully be happy playing it safe for the most part. Cause life is mostly a gamble, a risk. And if you're always, or usually playing it safe... you're going to miss out somehow, an probably on a lot. You won't be as happy as you maybe would've could've been, had you took some risks.

    Playing it safe means you'd never know what you can truly accomplish unless you take afew risks every now and again. Why settle for less when you can achieve more? If anything, and all else fails... you can always go home

    If you are comfortable with that then yeah? Not everyone has the exact same goals and expectations. Everyone should just do what they are happy with and worry less about what others think they should do.

    I believe that you can't play it safe in life. Sometimes you just got to jump head-first. If you fail you'll learn from your mistakes. That's when you grow the most. And then when you succeed it's the sweetest thing that you've ever had.
