Not a fan of super heroes in general.
But I far prefer flawed antiheroes to paragons in general.
I prefer the stronger ones like Goku. Batman and Superman aren't worth shit
We can relate to darkness more.

As a superhero, I want to know that their motives won't be construed into something personal like vengeance. Of course I am a huge fan of the darker heroic people as well, but that is because they have such strong loyalty and drive. I like and relate to them more as an antagonist, but that is as a man, on a level that you need to surpass to be a true superhero. It is hard to achieve a personal victory, even with the stronger motivation it may give you, but it is so much harder to put your own reasons and wants to the side in order to uphold the good of others. Principle and integrity are never compromised by real superheroes, who's goal is to uphold the common good regardless of personal revenge or interests. Yes the darker, more vengeance focused characters can be more relatable and engrossing, but they are on a whole other spectrum than the pure good ones. The dark ones are better in that their story is so strong, but the pure good ones make for better, true heroes, while their own story should never really be the main focus. That's my opinion.
Can we get a third option? I mean... sure Batman has created/leveled up all the supervillains in Gotham through a kind of catch and release program. While clearly capable enough to defeat them all he allows Gotham to rot under his ever-evolving super villain collection so that it will always need him just like he needs it...
On the other hand, while Superman is less inclined to build his supervillain collection he is many times more capable still through omission of action (he could save the entire world if he only cared enough) and is arguably far darker than Batman ever could be which considering the above is really saying something.
I would prefer a more direct evil personally. Would you consider Cthulhu a "Dark" or "Purely light" Superhero? I'm not sure which to click :v
Superman is one of my least favorite heroes as he places his view of good above any other greater good. Batman at least has the bravery to essentially "sacrefice" himself, make himself "bad" in order to punish those that would otherwise be let off. I see self sacrefice much more admirable than self restraint
Anti-heros like the punisher. He doesn't lock criminals up only for them to escape every week and kill someone all because weird twisted morality of a vigilante wants to enforce the law while breaking the law.
Eh, let's be honest for just a sec superheros just can't technically kill because that would mean them losing to much of the 17 and under age group marketshare
Everyone who's head Batman curb stomped into the ground after breaking their back and skull isn't "unconscious" they are just dead or in a vegitatice state at best >_<
@Raveagite think about how many lawsuits would be claimed against Bruce Wayne if they ever found out he was batman.
If this were reality I would argue that everyone knows that Bruce is Batman.
I mean... how many people with billions of dollars in equipment live in Gotham and have the jaw line of a Greek god?
He's fooling no one, I would argue that everyone is just afraid of becoming labeled a "villain" and having Batman drop down on them on their way home from work...
can't we have something in-between? I dont really care much about either the purely good ones nor the broody dark ones. I want some dynamics and deeper characters.
I prefer cool super heroes
like thanos, Loki as well as Dr Strange and Wonder Woman
#Not a DC Fan except Flash
Flaws are required to make the character relatable.
Superman is the epitomy of boring. Batman is far more relatable.
Dark ones
they are typically more interesting and complex characters
how about the everyday superheros like stay at home mothers
@Raveagite no, teachers was 2nd
@Raveagite no, cowboyz buttz drive me nutz.
I like Batman rather than Superman. Batman is cool and he 's closer to regular human being. Superman is kind a like plastic doll to me.
