-the drinking culture is annoying bc instead of people respecting your choice to not drink as you respect their choice to, you always get the "you should try it" speech, wtf...

-very few opportunities bc it's a small town

-the pedestrians can be a bit pushy bc it's near a college, especially towards the bars, it's like "Hit me, bro, I dare you" XD

that's really it, I overall like it but will be leaving soon to start a career

The politics. I live in a conservative area and have to hide the fact that I'm bi because of it. But when I take a trip to one of the more liberal areas if politics come up they can't seem to wrap their heads around the notion that you can be pretty liberal when it comes to LGBT issues and conservative on most other things.

It's like all sides around here give you a test, and even with the libertarians you have to answer 100% of the answers correct to not be considered an outsider.

I know that's not the case nationwide because I've talked to people from areas who have a mix of liberal and conservative views and never have trouble with anyone else, even when the other person is liberal where they're conservative and conservative where they're liberal.

Traffic - too much.
Weather - I prefer cold weather. I live in tropics. Tropics are for vacation, not living. LOL.
Public transportation - terrible. Majority of roads doesn't have a loading/unloading stops, even if they do, 90% of the people doesn't follow.
Mentality - people here wanted to change, but relies on 1 person (President) to change everything for them. People here wanted comfortable lives but elects self-serving officials.
Government - Corrupt, self-serving, incompetent. They would create laws that would either benefit them or not harm what they do (ie: some of them are the owner of illegal mines, illegal logging, businesses, cars, etc)
Education - we have good teachers, but in general we have poor education, especially on the far flung areas - leading to ignorance thus leading to problems above.

Shitty government, bad conditions of work, thiefts, cheaters, bad public transport, people that already came out from the cave, bad quality food in restaurants, no entertainment in city, my friends leaving that country, condition of roads, people who don't like to smile, people who treat everyone like shit, alcoholism, no perspectives for future, shitty payslips and fact that everyone abroad on start treat me like a patology because of place where i live :) (i am from Poland but i travel a lot, i used to live in England and now i am going to study in Germany)

this winter it snowed, then all melted, then snowed again, like 60 times, all the way to the end of April, it was just so obnoxious im so happy for spring finally. Also no one knows how to drive around here. and I've noticed most of the guys in my city are ugly, which is no fun at all.

I guess I don't like cold weather and the lack of entertainment. Nothing except restaurants and movie theatres. Bowling is 3-4 buses away from home and so are the good restaurants that I enjoy going to. If you want to visit a museum or an aquarium you have to visit another city.

Everything... The noise, traffic, pollution, people and almost everything else about this city. Luckily I found an apartment complex that's a little better than the rest of the city... It's pretty huge so not very noisy when I'm in my apartment and I'm at a high floor so air is pretty clean up here. But the rest of my city just drives me nuts.

Quite frankly it is a shit home but cheap. We moved here as it was too soon in our relationship to think of buying and we wanted to see what it was like living in the centre of town. We are at that stage now and just had an offer accepted. We are heading back to the country and commuting in.

I live in a military town, so nearly everything in the town is geared towards them, rather than the residents of the town in general. there's nothing to do here. Furthermore it's extremely difficult to meet women due to the gender imbalance that the military base brings (It's between 3:2 and 2:1 male-female).
