Cons: Foreign diseases, allergies, toxins, all without cure. How long or short days are. Vegetation problems. Other species that live there. We overpopulation and destroy the plant and kill off indigenous species by taking their habitats.

Pros: we can start again and do better job, be better people. Plenty of room to expand the human species. Beautiful new landscapes. Species living there might make good pets or might be intelligent enough to co-exist with. Cures for things like cancer or diseases.

Uhm. Yeah. Sure. I can guarantee loads of complications, and deaths. That will happen before they get lots of lawsuits, and than quite. How should I refer it to the simplest point. In order for the planet to be substantially liveable. Than you must fit this list in it.

- It needs to be at the goldilocks level of distance between a sun, and a moon. If to close to the sun it will be to hot, and highly sulphuric. To close to the moon it will be to cold.

They would need to do a 1-3 year monitoring, and recorded journal document. With hourly testing’s. You would need a group of multi-ethnicity test subjects. Your test subjects would have to be willing to endure both complications, and death. You would need to be able to replace one in case of said death. You would have a geographical outer-space mapping.

It will help the human race but it will take years for humans to adapt. So if people from earth moved to that new planet, there's like a 50% chance they will die but humans who are already born there are more likely to adapt and can die if they go to earth.
Pro - Human race will continue
Con - Humans from earth can't interact and live with them.

I think it'd be awesome to colonise other planets and learn more about our universe, just as long as we are able to live sustainably on Earth first. I don't think we should consider other planets "life rafts" as if we can't survive on Earth which is the perfect planet for humans without damaging it, how are we supposed to survive on others?

Help: more land and resources. We don't have to war. Deals with overpopulation issue.

Con: Colonize one means more colonization. Eventually the possibility of bumping into an intelligent alien life form. Also, that the planet will suffer time dilation issues.

Prevents death. Sounds good to me. Humans generally don't like death. Moves us away from our barbarism. Allows us to evolve and accomplish something that is ours rather than just go for money like idiot consumer hamsters in a wheel. Cons are that space is hell. Fairly self explanatory.

Pros- humanity is able to grow. New untapped world's with resources. A chance for mankind to start again. A chance for humanity to evolve.
Cons- new diseases, different environment, different gravity, unknown weather patterns, unknown natural disasters, asteroids, unknown food sources, smaller gene pool, human adaptation/evolution to the planet may change us into no longer being human as we think of it.
