If a girl asks a guy to go shopping with her, what does that indicate?

I'm just curious, because there are two girls that I used to go out this year, and both of them loves to shop. The first one, is a friend from school, but she knows I'm into her, and we always go out to shop and dine. And she trusts my judgement on what to buy... And another girl, which I just recently met, I asked her to go movie house one time and she said if she could go shopping first then we hit the cinema... What's with shopping anyway, does this indicate something?

Well the shopping it's self means nothing as far as I know, except with the first girl. Since she trusts you enough to go with what you say to buy it might show that she is into you. The second girl may just want to be able to actually talk to you. A movie is great but you have to site there and be quite there is not really an opportunity for any kind of conversation to find out more about each other so the shopping might be an excuse to be able to talk to you. All girls are different but that's my theory.

Well I would say that it doesn't really mean much unless they ask your opinion on things that they are buying. If she asks you how does certain things look on her, she is probably fishing to see if you find her attractive and or is trying to see what you like on her. Like Rose21 said all girls are different and can mean different things by certain aspects. Just keep in mind most girls will try to over analyze situations.

they might possibly think you're gay. I would not ask some guy I like to go shopping with me... because I know most guys don't like shopping. and I wouldn't want to scare him away...

maybe this indicates that you need more guy friends.
