What I mean with once upon a time ago is that this tactic has long since been no longer effective. But the fact that the girl WAS asking for it hasn't been contested, by anyone, even the protesters. Not by wearing the lace strippers' panties, but by arranging the hook-up, turning up to the arranged rendezvous and enthusiastically having sex with the guy. According to the sources I've read on the case itself, she approached a 27yo guy on social media, claiming to be over 18, arranged to hook-up with him, met him at a prearranged location (dressed up like a slut) and proceeded to have sex with the man. He was on trail for rape because she was under 18; how she was dressed was brought up in his defense, as in "How was he supposed to know she was under 18 from appearances alone, when she'd lied and told him herself that she was a legal adult?"
