Where do you get your statistics from? Mainstream news, left leaning social media platforms? The common people are content with the system as it is, there are mostly brainwashed university students who want socialism and then there are people who want a more democratic system but the socialists by far have no majority.

We have a socialistic party in the Netherlands and yes they are better then the corrupt one currently in government but they aren't leading. The sane populist party is 2 seats ahead of them in the polls and wilders is the second largest party. Combined that gives 34 seats for the populistic movement.

Now if you take it a little broader and you include a party who is just extremely left wing and also quite marxistic then they would have 29 seats combined. Which means that the majority of the seats aren't socialistic and its mostly just a loud sub group that doesn't translate in nation wide votes otherwise these party's would be a lot larger.
