It would be suuuuuuuper long to fully articulate, so it’s more defensible (in my opinion) in long-form, and sounds crazy when simply stated, so bear with me….

But the short way of saying it is that I believe human society as we currently know it is one huge folly by our species. Basically, I don’t see us as different from other animals. Differently abled, yes, but superior, no. And we have no license to overstep our naturally-defined boundaries, for ourselves or in opposition or without regard to other species.

I can pretty much write off most societal problems just as evidence that we shouldn’t be doing this in the first place, and that’s WHY shit is broken. But natural

live would be much more hazardous and uncomfortable, and shorter, in most cases…. but that’s how it’s supposed to go, and how we “feel” about that emotionally is utterly irrelevant. The harsh realities every other species faces, we have no right to sidestep them, even if we intellectually find ways that we CAN. Just because we CAN do something is in no way a green light to do it.
