What do you think about neck lengthening?

I've heard about it in a video I watched a while ago.

The video also stated, like someone else mentioned, 'it pushes down the shoulders', which makes the neck look longer.

It's hard to remember the exact county where it was popular or practiced, but I think it was either Cambodia, Mongolia or Thailand.

To me, it looks ridiculous and I highly doubt it's safe.

Dumbest thing i’ve seen. What else do the chinese get up to. If your neck was meant to be like that we would be born like that end of story. People do this dumb stuff for no reason other than to have a culture because deep down they know without it they have nothing.

It weakens the neck muscles to where they cannot support the head comfortably. The girls pictured usually cannot go long without putting on their rings again or they get huge neck aches. It's as dumb as the people who wear huge discs in their lips.
