The reality of feminism, agree?

Not quite.
Modern "feminism" is fairly different than the early version.
Modern seems to be more about promoting various women to god-like status while defaming men. Check https://didyouknowfacts.com (I think) for evidence. While entertaining, this site will occasionally post a "look at these pathetic MEN being all TOXIC MASCULINITY at these poor, yet AMAZING WOMEN!"
I'm all for equal rights, equal pay, equal everything, but this new-age feminism is taking a weird anti-male turn. Actual feminists are also pissed off about inequality, but they also admit there are some woes men face as well.
You know what? I can get behind this image since you do not need to be a super powerful hero to be a feminist and do the right thing as well as not every bigot is a rich asshole, some of them are fathers, mothers and indeed children who has had the wrong upbringing.
If anything this carries a lot of meaning and a powerful feminist message, thanks for bringing it to my attention.
Wanting equal rights has nothing to do with being against a family. They might not want to be a stereotypical housewife and thats fine. Some feminazis may hate them but not all.
Having equality is having the freedom to choose and not be forced into having kids and getting married
Name a right a woman doesn't have?
@Miristheiss How about the right to be drafted in times of war?
That's not a right lol dictionaries help
@dropkicknj13 So what? The right to defend the country is not a right?
That is not the same thing. That is a right, which they already have, women are allowed to enlist. Again, dictionaries helps
@dropkicknj13 Yes and no, they are still discriminated in regards to the draft. There are also other military roles that they are prevented from based not on their capabilities but on their gender.
That doesn't change the definition of what a right is, and they still have the right to enlist. I'm fairly certain that your second point is no longer true. They were prohibited from combat roles but we've had a few women complete ranger school now and the rangers are certainly a combat unit.
@dropkicknj13 Having the draft be limited to men is indeed an infringement on womens rights since they should be considered equal. As for female integration into the military? Its a painfully slow and grueling process for USA and not without its issues since many face discrimination. As such things like women entering the Rangers and Navy Seals is used as examples for getting women into other combat roles.
Again, get a dictionary. We've already gone over how the draft is a responsibility and not a right, if women wish to share the burden then they do have that right. And the speed or difficulty of exercising that right does not change the fact that they have that right.
@dropkicknj13 Sure the draft is a responsibility up to the point where one group is discriminated against at which point it turns into a rights issue.
Also yes it does matter what "speed or difficulty" the right is exercised as. If you believe that men and women should be equal then there should be no difference in speed or difficulty to implement this.
You clearly have no idea what a right is, and no interest in figuring it out, so there is no point in continuing.
@dropkicknj13 A right is part of an obligation as stipulated in a contract. You claim something in exchange for an obligation.
Thank you for proving my point I suppose lol
@dropkicknj13 I think we are disagreeing on what is the right and what is the obligation.
Men and women ARE NOT physically equal therefore women aren't ideal grunts, marines, seals. That is TRUTH AND REALITY.
@Miristheiss Thats complete nonsense. For starters once you resort to the draft you are already not caring about the quality of the solider but size and strength is also not everything. For example there are plenty of military unites that favor smaller individuals such as tank crews or the tunnel fighters during Vietnam.
Also in many cases women have surpassed earlier world records held by men in feats of strength and speed which tells me that they are strong ENOUGH to perform what is expected from navy seals or other special forces.
Lets also not forget that USA was the nation which wanted to completely revoke the national military in favor of ordinary people defending the country in the first place because they thought that was the most reliable way to win a war.

I agree, that seems about right...
Of course, I expect some angry feminists to climb out of the woodwork and try to deny it.
Feminists need to wake up; the world doesn't revolve around them or their imagined issues with men.
I agree and disagree. Some of the feminists are fine.
disagree.
The Reality is what it is trully about
TRUE.
Feminism is cancer.
most feminists look ugly and creepy.
