      Steve Jobs life wasn’t worth much considering an Apple iPhone product drops annually. Meaning his team not he himself create and expand on the technology he’s just there to claim credit for work

    In fact there is the so called net worth of a human being, which equals to assets minus liabilities. There's your official value as a human being. 🤷

    They shouldn't be, but they are.
    Throughout history, some humans were considered much more expendable than others, for various reasons.

    Honestly no human being has any worth. Wether we attach more value to someone is something we decide. To nature nothing has worth.

      @HungLikeAHorsefly:

      Proverbs 6:12-15:

      A worthless person, a wicked man,
      Walks with a perverse mouth;
      He winks with his eyes,
      He shuffles his feet,
      He points with his fingers;
      Perversity is in his heart,
      He devises evil continually,
      He sows discord.

      Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;
      Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

      @Hispanic-Cool-Guy He might be referring to

      James 1:26
      "If anyone thinks he is religious and does not bridle his tongue but deceives his heart, this person's religion is worthless."

      or James 4:11-12
      "Do not speak evil against one another, brothers. The one who speaks against a brother or judges his brother, speaks evil against the law and judges the law. But if you judge the law, you are not a doer of the law but a judge. There is only one lawgiver and judge, he who is able to save and to destroy. But who are you to judge your neighbor?"

      Or maybe he's just referring to your unique ability to cherry pick the Bible, pretend like it's literal and then go about criticizing others for your imagined offenses.

      @HungLikeAHorsefly: Notice the word "brother" James was writing to Christians as the beginning of the letter is being address to Christians.

      This dude in the comment isn't my brother in the faith. The Bible teaches we as Christinans should expose sin.

      Nope. All people's lives matter the same, but they affect the world differently when they end.

      When a newborn dies, its family mourns. When a rapist (adult or young adult or older child) dies, their friends and family mourn. The rapist has reached more people in their life, therefore affecting more people when they die. When a newborn dies, the family or close family friends will be affected, but not as many people as were affected by the rapist.

      The ending of the newborn infant's life affected the world less than the life of the rapist (generalization, but generally true).
