I would really love to hear from liberal minded people as to where and what countries where you would consider that has embraced a success full multicultural society? There has been failure for example Canada is one, UK is another, Germany... I honestly think of where a liberal government walks in and say's there's too many white people in this room, lets mix this up a bit... lets bring in more people from across the world. Here in Ontario Canada, you have Brampton we now call Bramladesh because it's predominantly people from Pakistan and India as more than 60% of Canada's Sikhism populations lives in Bramladesh. I wonder how multiculturalism worked there? Did the government say... ok all you brown folks can live in this area? Mississauga it's pretty much predominantly Muslims we already know what goes on down there, hell we don't even call it Canada down there. It's a little piece of the middle east down there. Public schools have their own little dedicated prayer room so they get to leave class to do their daily prayers. Don't even try teaching sex ed and the homosexual portion of it they will riot!
China town Toronto you can go down there and walk into a Chinese store and speak with a Chinese person who can't speak and single word of English and yet still manage to live in Canada... I would like to order blah blah blah, ? Reply: GSHERHQWFAKSFNSDKNDFWNRJDS!!! Pardon me?

For my third time in life I now live in a place where people from all over the globe get/got together. Bremen, Germany / Penang & Langkawi, Malaysia / Chon Buri Province, Thailand. It's very inspiring as long as the 'bad apples' (which can be found in ALL countries) are kept in check. Sure: many have habits or life styles that aren't mine; but I never felt reduced in my own freedoms.
You shouldn't be looking to stir the pot with an argument that isn't going to get you anywhere. Looking for reasons why we should be separated, making fun of other people's languages and lifestyles only separates us more. You could befriend someone different then you or hell even fall in love with someone from another culture but you'll never see progress in the world keeping a neo nazi attitude about your foreign neighbors
First you should define some terms like "liberal minded" or "failure". In my opinion your building up your conclusion on shaky definitions and wabbling axioms.
You could explain why you are believing Germany is an example for a failed multicultural society.
What could be an indicator for a successfull society?
Also, debate on whether it works or not is rather futile. Pretty much most citizens of a different ethnic background have got the citizenship, so there’s not like a nation could just get rid of them
