So for those of you who don't want to read the whole story, the jist of it is, a Hispanic American stole an LGBT pride flag off a church and burned it outside a strip club. Initially he was only supposed to do 1 year, but the judge slapped on another 15 for "hate crime" Apparently Mexicans burning American flags is fine, but Americans burning LGBT flags isn't.

Over zealous prosecutors and an injustice

I don't see the big deal... Symbolism is silly.

Good. More jail time for homophobes!

Ridiculous, I'd burn the manufacturing plant.

I suspect they pursued the hate crime aspect.
