Yes! so we can send all the criminals and liberals who love our country so much so they are willing to die for it.
Ok. I need everybody to google rex84 and get a better understanding of the end game. Have a nice night.
No one wants war good people will take on bad people
Trump especially does not want war. We are talking about a man who risked personal failure and ridicule in order to meet face to face with the most isolated and erratic leader the world has seen in decades - a move he borrowed from Barack Obama, mind you. Obama argued, what do we have to lose by talking it out? So he reopened relations with Cuba and with Iran, invoking the unique power only an American president can wield - to risk and absorb insult or humiliation for an entire country. Say what you will about Trump's meeting with Kim, but NO ONE laughed at America for Trump's failure to make inroads. Trump took all that on himself.
Now let's look at Venezuela, where Trump flirted with intervention language just enough to provoke stern warnings and denouncements from Democrats in congress. Days later, Russia sent advisors to Venezuela, followed by an unofficial military presence in a training capacity. The long-simmering US invasion of Venezuela, once thought inevitable, now means war with Russia, and is effectively ruined.
Some months ago, Saudi Arabia was attacked by Iran, then a US drone was downed by Iran. In both cases the US responded with restraint. We absolutely did not have to. That Trump has little or no capacity for bloodshed is a known quantity at this point. In fact it may be a major concern, because how can a man who won't kill innocents oversee a nuclear deterrent? Instead Trump ordered American troops to withdraw from Syria, a move many predict would result in massacre of Kurds. This of course never happened. And we now find ourselves with Iraq doing what Trump knew he could not do alone: end outright the ongoing de facto US occupation of that country.
Continuing: That's two interventions ended and one or maybe two future wars ruined before they can happen. And yet countless Americans continue to assume Trump's approach to foreign policy isn't calculated, and that he is looking for an excuse to wage war. Yet when he took office the US was on the brink of war with Russia in both Syria and Ukraine. And will anyone deny that Trump could have sent thousands of troops to Yemen and possibly should have? Yemen where 16 million people no longer have access to clean drinking water. Some 70,000 civilians dead and counting. Does Trump really need an excuse to go to war? Yet many continue to believe he is eager for war.
The sad fact of the matter is that our fixation on Trump's personal style has made many Americans so exhausted with politics that even and especially those who despise him are no longer aware of foreign policy issues. This will one day come back to bite us in the ass, because we won't always have a man in the White House who hates killing and is devoted to peace. In fact we almost never do.
I'm an aggressive and sadistic human being
I do kinda want war
But I'm Canadian and I'm pretty sure war is highly unlikely to happen
I do not want war, no
Anyone who does is insane.
That's not so.
Some think war is inevitable and now is the time to do it. That's misguided, not insane.
Some know that they will profit from they. They are evil, not insane.
Some honestly don't want war but prefer it to the alternative. They are misguided, not insane
That is very true actually :)
No war. I'm with you Spidey. 😊
won't happen unless Iran escalates the matter.
The USA are the ones who escalated the matter, in my opinion.
the US were the ones who used a drone strike against an Iranian General who was critical in staving off the ISIS forces from that region, if anything the US already started/committed an act of war... it was reckless and irresponsible and not to mention the fact they drew first without any reason... shows how up themselves the US government has become... when someone becomes far too self important and see's themselves as superior and without reproach, they tread in dangerous waters, particularly those that are tread by dictators and warmongers... the US needs to take a step back and pay for their actions, they need to fix this before many lives on both sides are lost, with many civilians caught in the middle
@SjE78 Well the defense department was convinced he was planning an attack on US military personnel, so I dont find it unjustified. It's just a question of it was it the most appropriate response to the threat.
they were convinced on a lot of things over the decades and most of those concerns ended up just excuses to start wars and push to install a US friendly government...
i can pretty much guarantee that their reasons aren't as cut and dry as that... not even Iran is stupid enough to attack any country who has the means to wipe them off the planet...
and more accurately the reasons behind it was they were hoping to utilise ISIS again as a reason to "liberate" Iran, from Terror...
as the General was the reason why ISIS hadn't been able to succeed in that region... without that guy, chances are ISIS will and that will give Trump the excuse he wants to rush in and claim he "saved Iran from terrorists" when in fact he himself has become the very thing he claims he fights against
Eye motherfucking roll 🙄🙄
May all of you in the US be safe
Iran too
Everybody chillax. Trump doesn't do wars.
I rather have peace and not war.
Only idiots want war
