I've been thin for my entire life (I'm a RSA/UK dress size 2/4), and haven't felt privileged in anyway way because of my mass/size.

I am generally opposed to labeling anyone as "privileged" since individuals feel the compound of many forces on their lives. Someone can be from a "privileged" group and be very underprivileged for one reason or another.
That said, weight based discrimination is one of the most prevalent and damaging forms of discrimination today. In the US, it is probably the worst one, since those who are discriminated against have no legal recourse and few organizations to turn to for help. It is much easier to perceive discrimination than privilege, so the fact that you have not felt it means little. Ask any chubby girl and she will have had plenty of experiences of discrimination to speak of. So to the extent that we call the inverse of discrimination privilege, then yes there is plenty of thin privilege.
It’s Social Justice Warrior, *Cough* Cultural Marxist bullshit. It’s all contingent on always being a professional victim and suffering from the deadly sin of envy. So, ignore it. For example, a white student accused an academic of privilege. The academic asked him, if you believe you are privileged, leave this university, so that an underprivileged minority person can be enrolled here. Guess what the white student did? Nothing. He was a hypocrite because he wouldn’t give up what he accused others of. That’s just it, often people accuse others of what they are guilty of themselves.
You're not privileged just because you're thin. It means you take good car of yourself. I think whoever said that just said it to make themselves feel better for being bigger than you.
There's no need to skinny shame, or fat shame people just because they don't like themselves.
Yeah I’ve always been skinny so I understand that I have it easier in some respects due to that.

I've come across a dumb bitch on Facebook who thinks that "thin privilege" is a thing, and so I told her that thin people have their set of issues just like fat people do, and she literally says "How can you have issues when you're privileged?" I tried explaining valid examples of why thin privilege does not exist, and the issues thinner people are dealt. She legit laughed and blocked me for disagreeing with her. I think anyone who thinks that "thin privilege" exists, is someone who is blind to what anyone other than themselves goes through. Being underweight (below normal size), can be just as difficult as being overweight for various reasons. People will bully you, you'll have difficulty finding clothes, you'll be assumed to be unhealthy, you'll be assumed as weak, and with lack of cushioning on your body you are far more vulnerable to injuries.
I've got a very fast metabolism. I can eat what I want and people are often jealous. There's no real advantage of being thin. I have to eat a lot to keep my weight the same. I can lose kilograms a day if I don't.
I'm currently the right weight for my height but people see me as very thin. Really weird.
No. I've repeatedly had people tell me to eat -even at work- and I'm not even underweight 🤦🏼♀️
Am I privileged for eating healthy most of the time?
next i suppose we will hear the claim that someone is privileged because they have two arms and two legs #facepalm
Holy shit do people just invent types of privilege to put on people? What in the fuck is "thin" privilege? Like it's not thin people's fault you're fat lol
I wasn't say you in particular are fat, I'm saying other people who come at people with "thin" privilege
Eat some pizza! I dont like super skinny chicks. A little bit of weight looks better! Girls always think they need to lose weight when really they look just fine that way. I'm not talkin morbidly obese but a few extra pounds is cute
See you prove the point that thin privilege is bullshit. Shit like what you just said is things that naturally skinny girls have to hear all the time.
I've always had some weight most of life. But i think where this can and does play out is in Hollywood and modeling
Never in my life. There is no priveledge to being thin its just sods luck of oneself.
No, but I suspect jealousy was why I got skinny shamed.
Fuck em' who cares what they think. Yes I think attractive women are more privileged, but this goes for attractive men too.
I have beautiful penis privilege.
Now fuck off all you wokie crackpots.
Anyone who spouts xxxxxx privilege is your enemy and should be hunted down like dogs and beaten.
yes because I can eat as much as I like to and stay as thin as a toothpick.
All concepts of 'privilege' are nonsense.
I don't know what it is
