I'd say some people are born lucky, while some people have the potential to create their own luck. On the other hand, some people were born unlucky, and they never seem to be happy, which implies that luck is more valuable than we think. Without luck, you can't have anything (love, money, health etc).
Both, but it also depends what you see as luck. Life is like poker, you are dealt a hand and you will have to work with it, but even though you have a shitty hand, if you play the game correctly, you can still make something out of it. Really what you have to think about is, what does luck mean to you? Does it mean having shelter and food? Financial security? The opportunity to travel? Finding someone you love? Some of those things you can be born with, others not so much.

I certainly believe in luck
My grandmother was a SHAMAN who before she died prayed for me
I think it's both. When I was born the Nun told my Mom I waa either going to be a Nun or tge Luckiest person they ever knew!! I've cheated Death too many times to count, if I enter a Contest I always Win, they always called me the Lucky One...
It's both. And the amount of determinancy by one and another factor varies from life to life and the ratio can change through life time but it remains constant for lengthier periods by the most people. I think so.
I was born lucky to be the daughter of generous, hard-working & apparently wealthy parents who taught me well. Well enough to make my own luck & fortunes.
there's no such thing as luck, its totaly random... i could be lucky for one week and someone say im lucky... then the next 50yrs of my life be extremely unlukcy... luk is jus randomly generated... its not tied to 1 person... but i gess u can get some people who have nonstop good luk..
A bit of both. If you're born good looking and can lwarn good social skills easily you can have better luck than others. The rest is a matter of taking opportunities.
It's a combination of both, but in larger part it's what you are born with - this includes your body, genetics, wealth, circle of people you meet (like your neighborhood, school).
Mostly luck is probability. However, you could you were unlucky if you were born with a major handicap and you could say you were lucky if you were born with the ability to win Olympic gold medals.

I am part Irish and you do your best and let God handle the rest ! in other words no one is lucky but anyone who God chooses can be blessed ! Thanks
It's mostly opportunities not luck. A lot of people don't want to inknowledge that their opportunities are greater than others

Luck?
There's two different kinds.
One can very easily turn into the other with no warning.
It's a combination of both, but in larger part it's what you are born with - this includes your body, genetics, wealth, circle of people you meet (like your neighborhood, school).
Some people just have that luck of the Irish where everything seems to work out for em.
Some people can make their own luck as well though.
It's preparation + opportunity. Two different, essential skills combined. That's all it is.
Yeah.. Some people are born lucky. I think I was born lucky in some ways.
I feel like my life is a combination of 10% blind effort and 90% luck
I think both is more than plausible... to be born lucky as well as create your own luck.
Some people are born rich, and that's about the same thing.
I can’t tell if I’m super lucky or super unlucky... perspective is dictating factor.
