As you know in many countries only men have to perform military service which is unfair towards men and so i think both should do it or none of them. However, i watched a documentary where it is said that some women has experienced sexual harrassment or rape. Therefore, I get scared and have respect for people who is in millitary. So how safe is millitary for women (or men) ?

Yeah, but studies also show upwards of 60% of allegations are provably false which makes it really scary for men because no one believes men ever as far as these things are concerned and women never experience any real consequence for false accusations.
As for being in the military women are provably inferior soldiers. Men are physically stronger, more resilient and mentally more resilient as well. Women get PTSD at twice the rate as men despite not being on the frontlines, they require different medical care then men and have fluctuating hormone cycles compared to men.
The PTSD is also an issue because if women start commiting suicide more in those situations as PTSD can and does lead to, it would actually increase the rates of suicide for all the other soldiers in her platoon as studies show when one person commits suicide in a unit, their is a (I believe) more then double the chance that some one else will (and they are already 16x more likely to commit suicide compared to civilians).
Over all while I enjoy the idea of women going into the military and being forced to eat their words and actually be equal to men instead of just wanting nothing but the "privileges" of being a man and none of the (Far greater) responsibilities, in this case I think its a bad idea because if and when it fails, its going to cost people their lives.

No, I mean a provably false allegation i. e. they admitted it was false (eventually) or evidence existed to show that it did not occur. So who knows what the actual numbers are (for civilians its upwards of 40%).
Well yes, one being forced and the other not is unfair but life isn't fair and again, its not any good if women go and end up being a detriment (we are not built for the same tasks, its just biology and their is nothing any one can do about it), especially since that will end up costing people their lives.
The military is never going to stop existing however so that is never an option and conscription, well I don't think that will ever be permanently taken off the table.

I think he means since in average men are stronger they are better built for combat one example you squadmate is wounded and you need to carry him to safety average man will succeed in this task better than average woman. So sure if women want to join the army let them but hold them to same standard as men.
Well @jspl90 mentioned one way it would endanger people, the other is increased rates of PTSD and suicide which would cause increased stress to other soldiers which means they will be put at risk due to either her breaking down during a stressful situation or because it will put them in an even greater stress filled position which increases the odds of them breaking down. Also they do to having different ways of coping with stress, namely they don't (at least not as well as men) they will get combat fatigue sooner then their male counter parts but currently (to my knowledge) the average time in a battle zone is sixty days before it starts having a sever detrimental affect on the person mind which itself increases the risk of mistakes or inability to do the jobs they need to do. If women have a lower threshold that means while the rest of the men are functional she is not yet they are dependent on her to do the job which she is now to stressed to do (combat is incredibly stressful. We are not built to kill each other despite popular belief (for example half the soldiers in WWII never fired their weapon, in Vietnam the average was 57 shots fired for one kill because most where intentionally missing because again, we are not built for killing each other), and the stress of being in that situation while also trying to stay alive is an incredibly draining one). So that increases the threat to the rest of the unit and the army as a whole and can demoralize them (and its already a demoralizing situation to be in a combat zone to begin with) which can be dangerous.
I feel it's important to know your rights, to know how to defend yourself before you go into the army and know who to talk to. I'd even consider talking to a former army girl to get more info
I spent five years in the United States Navy and can attest that rape and sexual harassment are a problem in the military. The VA defines it as MST military sexual trauma. This doesn’t mean that every woman that joins will be raped and keep in mind that it does happen to men too. The adequacy of handling such situations also depends on the chain of command as well. I was not raped while on active duty but I found myself in a situation on board my ship in which a fellow sailor tried to force me to kiss him. I filed a sexual harassment complaint the next day and it got taken care of. My other command however was run by a man who believed that the Navy was only meant to be a little boy’s club, so any sexual harassment or rape complaints from female sailors were either not taken seriously or were ignored all together

And yes, it's unfair that women are able to dodge the draft, however men are clearly more physically apt for it. That's just the nature of mammals. Males are bigger and stronger, generally speaking.
Air force is like half women. Navy is weird because women aren't allowed on ships. That leaves army and marines. I dont know a lot about the marines, but it the army your immediate working environment is largely determined by your MOS (job), but the people you work with is determined by where you are stationed. I'm not aware of any posts in "the boonies" or whatever, but once you get past training, everything after that is just a normal job with much longer hours, less pay, and a silly dress code. I'd imagine harassment is something thats as common as it is in the no military world. Perhaps even less as the military does make efforts to take accusations seriously.
Actually I’m former Navy and women are allowed on ships (I served on one for two years). The Navy has been letting us serve on ships since 1993, but when I was in women weren’t allowed on submarines. I’m sorry, I’m not trying to be rude or condescending, just letting you know.
Yes. It's dangerous for anybody to join the military for obvious reasons, but women have that added risk of rape on base and many of those cases go under investigated or even outright uninvestigated. I'll always caution people away from the military. With women, I'll even use those statistics on rape for why she shouldn't join voluntarily.

In the U. S. women are very safe in the military. There are all kinds of (excessive) safe guards and any woman who claims she was attacked can instantly destroy the career of the man she is accusing, especially if he is a commissioned officer or more senior NCO.

It's the military it's soldiers being prepared for war. Of course it's not safe and yes sexual assault and rape does happen then add to that an enemy that wants to wipe you off the face of the planet
If you plan on joining the military be cautious of the people who work with you. And try to go one step ahead of your comrades who are wanting to inflict sexual harassment towards you.
I'm pretty sure that it is dangerous for either sex to join but its a necessary evil

It's more dangerous for women because they suffer more injuries than men. Some can't even have kids because of the physical stress their bodies go though.
