Maybe more equal than what we have now, similar to what my parents had where things were affordable with an average wage but not so equal everything is mediocre.
I forgot who said it (maybe H. L. Menkin) "Freedom is not free. Free men are not equal. Equal men are not free" The cream will always rise to the top. Socialism/Communism assures that only political cronies and oligarchs can rise to the top.
No, but it would be beneficial to distribute it at least evenly enough so that everyone got their basic needs covered together with free education and free healthcare.
That has never and will never happen. Anyone with power will always take more then his or her fair share. I rather see fairly distrubtion of resources.
If history has proven one thing, it's proven that this is a really bad idea. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely." Baron John Acton
Yes, but this would be a disaster in long run because everyone would stop to generate wealth. I prefer a society where people get paid for the effort their jobs demand.
Nope. I have my hopes and dreams and I don't wanna live in a world in which I can't get the money I deserve thanks to my abilities, just because other people are lazy and/or incompetent.

Its not a binary choice-the current arrangement-most of the resources to the very few wit great percentages in poverty and the virtual elimination of the middle class by the most predatory form of Capitalism (actually Corporatism) -is unsustainable.
Yes. Because more equal distribution of wealth very strongly correlates with measures of quality of life. Though 100% equal distribution would be a dystopia. But less income disparity is better for everyone. The rich and the poor.
have to look at it this way if we don't the rich will own us. Machines will take most jobs in the future and poor and middle class will be left behind so no matter what a Universal Basic income will be required.
Yes, but as much jobs go new jobs emerge the issue is upgrading oneself each year something new comes for example telephone exchange earlier there were landlines and cables and there were line men to check and install the connection as well as maintain it more often it had issues slowly the cordless phones and mobiles and everything they gave more jobs but also took few jobs from those who Didnot learn but it gave more convince of working and better pay so the development dwells on duality its not that simple we have to learn adapt and accept and evovle or else we will be eliminated it's same as jungle rule forest of the survival if we will be ignorant of the fact we are bound to be extinct
@Aakash_Hangargi yes but a lot less jobs gas station's use to have 3-5 employee's how many do you see now. ai is getting smarter and these job won't be for humans machines will be able to build machines and fix each other we see this already in car factories. yes someone has to build machines but most of this can be done by machines house are already being printed all over companies are poping up 10 people to build the machines but 100s of people to build a housing complex won't be needed airplanes fly themselves 90% of the time ai will make it 100% soon pilots won't be need and much more
No. Why should I, someone who produces twenty times what I do, and someone who produces 1/20 of what I do all make the same amount? That is a massive disincentive the one making 20 times, and a huge disincentive to me.
'Wealth' is not my major interest. I would be more interested in an equal distribution of thoughtfulness (education?) and fairness amongst one another.
That would be awesome in theory but it wouldn't be sustainable. If everyone gets the same amount of money then how would you incentivise people to work?
No, but I do want to live in one with equal opportunity. Equal wealth though means that no matter what you do we are all rewarded the same which isn't fair. Equal opportunity on the other hand means we all have an equal chance.
they're lazy now!!! have you seen most of the employees in retail stores and call center jobs and restaurant workers. Lazy and dumb as fuck. the dumbest shit you will encounter and they're still over paid.

No, because then people would be rewarded for not doing anything.

Heck no!! I want to be able to make my own money and as much as I strive for

No, ıts not fair to give a doctor and a garbageman same amount of money.
Wow people are nuts.
No government can "give" you anything without taking away first.
The ramification of this is that people will become lazy since there would be no incentive to work. So, you would have to create robots.
People being replaced by robots will be done in like a couple years
they're lazy now!!! have you seen most of the employees in retail stores and call center jobs and restaurant workers. Lazy and dumb as fuck. the dumbest shit you will encounter and they're still over paid.
No, not equal. But fair. I just want people that work a full time job to not need to work a second full time job just to make ends meet.
