Why do black people want money for slavery?

ADOS is American Descendants of Slavery. I don't know how many times I need to say this. You were not enslaved. Your ancestors were. You shouldn't get money for something your ancestors did.

What it is mainly is that black people are more often than other races born into poverty, and what's more is black schools and neighborhoods don't get as much funding. The opportunities are not as many and I think what they really want is equal opportunity. It doesn't matter how or why slavery is just a popular argument I think.

Nope. They need equal opportunity. If they don't succeed, it is because they fail, not because they are black.
They do not need money for their ancestors. Blacks are not the only ones who have had it rough and not every white person is a descendent of slave owners.

There is such a thing as inheritance and it makes legal sense to give the descendants of people compensation for what their ancestors suffered through. Especially if what their ancestors went through is still impacting them negatively in some way today. L

Not all white Americans are descendants of slave owners. Some Europeans immigrated to the U. S. in the 1920s to get jobs. They weren't slave owners.

The only reasonable version of reparations is having descendants of slave owners pay descendants of slaves... but even then maybe the descendants of slave owners are poor in many cases.
