Why do Black Men flex their money?

This is a phenomenon that I’ve noticed happening since 2012. Or maybe it’s always happened , just people didn’t have SmatPhones and Cameras to do it back then.

But why do Black Men or People of low income areas have to flex their money on camera?

You don’t see DONALD TRUMP pulling this little act on a camera and he’s a billionaire … so what’s the point.

I personally also wouldn’t have a bunch of paper dollar bills hanging out. All of my earrings are to be in the system.. anybody at all can steal your little dollar bills.
Dont you think that this behavior or act puts you in a negative light?

That it makes you look entitled and narcissistic and proud?

Also side note; I’ve seen Hispanic Men and Black Men pull this behavior. But I’ve never seen a White Man pulling this little play unless he’s an ex-criminal …

As a black man, I have to say I sort of agree with you. It's always been a big thing in rap videos for black male artists to display money, and some project-type black men on social media like to display that too. Although, it's the same with project-type black women singers and people on social media as well.

Blacks who grew up in the projects or the streets - not just around it but literally living their life in it - do have a deeply simple-minded obsession with cash, doing whatever they can to get it, and wanting to make a show of it. And they definitely like to display it if they got this money through criminal or dishonest means.

So I would say in some sense your question is right, but it largely applies to black men with little or no education and who grew up in the streets. However, there definitely are white men who like bragging about all their money and success, they just don't literally show you their money in order to do that.

Uneducated blacks from the streets make it to the top in the music industry or football world and become popular, which makes us all think the majority of black people are like this. I think it's a culture thing for people in some areas. They grow up feeling like they aren't worth anything unless they're "worth money".
