I am in a class with over 50 people and have never spoken to the professor- it is a lecture. He added me on facebook- and it looks like we have 3 friends in common- all of them guys.

Is this weird? Should I add him?

If you don't really talk or anything in ss, than I would not add him personally. I mean, there is nothing between you..like some teachers will talk to their students a lot and joke around with them, and if he just has guy friends in common, it may be a little strange. But just to play it safe I wouldn't add him.

Hmm well in this case it's hard to say...Maybe he just saw you on the sie where it says "people you may know" and he could have thought "ah why not? She's in one of my classes I teach." But still doesn't explain it all...

i have lots of teachers as friends,but all female,we tried adding one of our male teachers just for fun and he told us that he didn't want any underage girls as friends cause his wife would get worried xD it is a bit creepy to add him,just don't

some of my professors have added me, or my other friends. I don't find it weird, just block the info you don't want out for them to see if you care.

I wouldn't. I've had teachers from high school add me on facebook after I graduated. But I knew those teachers well hence the reason I added them.

My professor & my Master's supervisor is also a friend & I have him on fb. Depends on your relationship with him :)
